285 Flusskilometer verlaufen in Brandenburg.

Today I walked together with Frank M. the 5th stage of the way 'Along the Havel from the source to the mouth' of Marienthal to Liebenwalde.Overall, it was a nice and varied tour. Only the section along the Voßkanal became more monotonous with every kilometer. On the one hand, the path was on the well-developed and paved Havelradweg, on the other hand, the water was very quiet, unless there were a few boats over and the Voßkanal was almost dead straight. Here is the recording and detailed tour description of Frank M .:

Today, Frank M. and I walked the 6th leg of the 'Along the Havel from Source to Mouth' route. This led from Liebenwalde on Neuholland, Malz, Friedrichsthal, Fichtengrund, Sachsenhausen and Oranienburg to Lehnitz.Today's stage was pretty stress-free, because we had in Lehnitz S-Bahn connection in 20 minutes. Also, today's tour I liked very much because of the variety between landscape or forest sections and localities. Here is the recording of Frank M. with a detailed tour description:

Today, Frank M. and I hiked the 7th leg of the 'Along the Havel from Source to Mouth' route. This led from Lehnitz via Oranienburg, Pinnow, Borgsdorf, Birkenwerder, Hennigsdorf and Nieder Neuendorf to the Aalemannufer in Berlin-Spandau, Hakenfelde. After initial continuous rain, the sun came out later, and in places it was rather humid. In the first photos you can see the rain well and it is not so nice to hold a glider in your hand, if you want to take pictures. On today's stage was a lot of asphalt, mostly on bike paths, but still very nice sections across meadows and through forests and we were close to the Havel.
Through the villages, the path usually led along the edges of the village, so that almost no buildings are there.

Caption of the photos will be done later!Today, Frank M. and I walked the 8th leg of the 'Along the Havel from Spring to Mouth' route. This will lead completely through Berlin this time and starts at the Aalemannufer in Hakenfelde. The route runs through Hakenfelde, the Spandauer Wasserstadt and along the Lindenufer west of the Havel. Over the Schulenburgbrücke is changed to the eastern shore and it goes through the Wilhelmstadt. On the Stößenseebrücke Westend is reached and then followed on the eastern Havelufer partly on the Havelhöhenweg, partly down directly on the Havel the way through the Grunewalder Forst, including a round on the peninsula Schildhorn. The stage ends at the station Berlin-Wannsee.Here is the recording of Frank M. with a detailed tour description:

Today, Frank M. and I hiked the 11th leg of the 'Along the Havel from Spring to Mouth'.This stage starts at the bus stop 'Ketzin, Rathausstraße' and leads first on the Nauener Straße in a northerly direction past the former station building of Ketzin, where the passenger traffic was discontinued in 1963.A little later, turn left into the Brandenburger Chaussee and follow it on the cycle path for about 3 km. Here, the Ketziner Bruchlandschaft, a collection of Tonstichseen and the village Brückenkopf is crossed. Then turn left into the street 'Am Deich'. This leads seamlessly to the flood protection dyke. For about 13 km, the path now leads along the dike with dried-up lawn. Initially, the dyke meanders along many curves along the Havel, later the straight sections become longer, but not boring due to the wide views in all directions.
