The bicycle-friendly city of Bremen in north-west Germany offers many great cycling Tours. Outside of the city, you can surround yourself with unspoilt nature as you cycle through enchanted moors and along winding rivers. For those of you that don’t like climbing, we have good news – you ride almost exclusively on flat paths.

In this Collection, we guide you on a great bike Tour, which is a 62-kilometre (38.5-mile) loop from Bremen to the artists' village Worpswede and back again. Your journey begins from Bremen’s central station which is easy to reach with local and long-distance trains as well as the Region-S-Bahn or tram. From the station, you get on your bike and pedal out of the city through Bürgerpark. On the way to Worpswede, you visit wide landscapes, romantic rivers and unique nature reserves.

Along the route, you also find good infrastructure for cyclists: in addition to comfortable rest stops for well-earned breaks, a number of bicycle repair stations with air pumps, repair kits and tools are dotted along the route. This will ensure that you have a good time on your bike when exploring Bremen and the surrounding area.
