Pilion - Griechenland 🇬🇷 2021

Our little final tour took us one last time through olive groves and ended in bright sunshine on Sarande Beach ☀️☀️☀️🏖🩴🦶🏼

Wonderful tour via Portaria to Makrinitsa. From this small, listed town you have a fantastic view of Volos. The Platia is really great with an ancient plane tree. The pictures are crisscrossed again 🤷🏼‍♀️

It rains in Greece too. Therefore today a short walk to the beautiful beach tavern.

From the starting point of the hike, it went downhill for a while through olive groves over two beaches to the famous beach of Milopotamus.

From the Hana ski area, it goes today through beech forests down to Makryrachi. We passed many waterfalls, in whose water basins you could have bathed 🤦🏼‍♀️ but that was definitely too cold for me!

High up from the Hania ski area, it went 1250 m downhill through beech forests, down to Kissos. On the idyllic village square, after a leisurely coffee, we continued downhill to the seaside resort of Agios Joannis.

On our “actually” day off, we left the hotel and strolled through the hinterland. From the All Saints Church, past a rough, natural beach, we hiked back to the coast. Since we had our swimsuits with us as always, the beach got in the way and I stopped the tour here.

From the hotel we hiked up to the untouched mountain village of Pouri, where we ordered our lunch in a tavern under the almost 1,000-year-old plane tree on the village square. Today we started again directly at the hotel. In bright sunshine, of course 😃 there was enough fruit to eat, just like yesterday on the way.
