Our way from Limenas always led along the sea. Passing two of the most beautiful beaches on the island and a marble quarry, we went through shady olive groves and forests to Golden Beach at Skala Potamia. To top it all off, we took a bath and indulged in a beer in a tavern

From Prinos it went up through olive groves to the mountain village of Kallirachi. In between we visited friends who have a holiday home in the mountain village of Mikros Prinos.

After we had explored the city extensively, we went in the city center over stone steps up to the Acropolis, the Pantempel and the viewing platform. From there the view over the city and the bay is simply breathtaking! We could see all the way to the mainland! Later there was a reward beer in the sensational beach bar.

From Theologos we first hiked through the idyllic valley of the Lakkos Kastrinon with its small waterfalls and gnarled plane trees.
