As if on a string of pearls, magnificent stretches of nature lined up along the Aller Cycle Route are a wealth of historical highlights and towns and villages worth seeing. On the way you can enjoy wonderful alluvial landscapes, idyllic heath landscapes and valuable nature reserves. The residential town of Celle, the windmill town of Gifhorn or the Autostadt Wolfsburg, on the other hand, are just a few of the many interesting, exciting and absolutely worth seeing stage destinations that contribute to the fact that this long-distance cycle route is highly recommended in the ADFC brochure "Discovering Germany by bike".

The long-distance cycle route runs along the Aller from its mouth into the Weser near Verden to the idyllic spring in the small town of Eggenstedt. As an alternative end (stage 6) the Aller-Elbe-Radweg from Seggerde connects the Aller with the Elbe and takes you directly to Magdeburg.

The Aller cycle path crosses the Aller-Leine valley, the Südheide heath and the Drömling mainly quiet landscapes and largely flat terrain, so that extremely enjoyable stages await you. Towards the end of the tour alone, the somewhat more undulating terrain of the Flechtinger Höhenzug provides some variety. The route usually runs car-free over asphalted and occasionally water-bound sections.

No matter whether you decide to follow the Aller cycle path to the source in Eggenstedt or to turn off in the direction of the Elbe to Magdeburg - this cycle path is a wonderful experience and we wish you lots of fun.
