Welcome to the Dirty Reiver RegionalDue to Covid-19 we have been unable to hold the event this year, but to keep the ‘gravel stoke’ high we have put together a collection of suggested routes across the UK. The rides are designed to get you out and about exploring in true Dirty Reiver style throughout September - do one, do them all or do your own.The format is simple, either download a gpx route from event partner Komoot or plan your own and invite Dirty Reiver. Load your route onto your gps unit and check it, then get out and ride. If riding one of our regional routes you can start at any point on the route, meet with friends, arrange a social or ride alone. Upload your competed ride to komoot once you're done, add some photos/comments/recommendations and share the best bits. To share your ride with us select 'Tag Participant' and search for The Dirty Reiver (you'll need to be following us first). Each week we will send out some spot prizes from our sponsors for unusual incidents, great images and fun accounts. Remember it is not a race and we will not be recognising fastest times. There are eight regions to choose from, sorry we could not include the whole of the UK! If there is no route near you them please feel free to send us your own. Rides are not just for Dirty Reiver entrants, everyone is welcome. Ride with a friend or plan a shorter loop with the family - our aim is to get as many people riding their gravel bikes as we can.For information on how to use Komoot we have scheduled a couple of informative webinars, which will run through the basics including how to vary the start location and how to upload your ride images and comments. More information at:
eventbrite.com/e/plan-your-perfect-dirty-reiver-gravel-route-tickets-117515693603Please can all riders make sure that they adhere to any Covid-19 requirements. That includes any social distancing rules, regional variations, wearing face coverings in shops etc or local travel restrictions if applicable. This information is widely available so please check in advance of your planned ride. Finally, the routes are based on some of our favourite ride locations across the UK and though we have endeavoured to check them as much possible there are inevitably some sections which we have not fully ridden. Please take this in the spirit of the ride, the Dirty Reiver is an adventure, but please let us know if anything has changed. Routes are not marked in anyway on the ground so riders should proceed with safety in mind.Let's make September a month of Gravel Riding!

No debería haber…
