Urlaub 2018 Namibia

Before the onward journey, we made a mini hike to the millennia-old rockpaintings, which are just there to be found on the farm.

We were allowed to see the small cheetahs, but unfortunately not take pictures.

From a distance we could see 2 giraffes and since we spent the last days and weeks anyway too much in the car, we went off to see them and / or others maybe too close ... was unfortunately nothing.

Once again try to get at least one of the 18 rhinos living on the farm in front of the lens.

Also on the farm of the Noltes is the playground of the giants.

It really looks like giants have been playing Tetris. A small part you can visit, which we did.

During the war, the two German geologists Henno Martin and Herrmann Korn hid with their dog Otto 2.5 years in the KuisebCanyon so as not to go to war. There was her first hiding place. I bought the book by Henno Martin in Swakopmund, but I have not read it yet.

A smaller sightseeing tour through Windhoek. With about 320,000 inhabitants the largest city in Namibia. It is becoming increasingly modern and is being built on every corner. Only in this city is it hectic, here pulsates life.

Otherwise, Namibia is rather tranquil and quiet.
