Fischland-Darß-Zingst. Eine Halbinsel, die dank Bodden und Ostsee einen ganz eigenen Charme entwickelt hat, den man nur schwer entziehen kann. Bei mir ist es jedenfalls so und daher komme ich immer wieder gerne hierher. Das Wetter versprach sehr sonnig zu werden und so waren schnell meine Wanderschuhe angezogen und mein Rucksack auf den Rücken geschnallt. Für einen Tag machte ich mal die Halbinsel ein wenig unsicher. Aber muss es nur immer an einem Ort sein? Nein, daher erwarb ich mir eine Tageskarte für den Nahverkehr und hatte damit die Freiheit, überall auf der Insel meine Wandertouren zu starten, aber auch zu beenden.Das Bodden-Hopping war geboren.

The beautiful hiking weekend is not over yet, because the weather forecast promised "full of sun". Okay, then this weekend I'll slip into my (new) hiking shoes again and this time I'll head to familiar territory: the Darßer Bodden.
Arrived by bus in Wieck am Darß, it goes straight into the Darß primeval…

After a round tour on the Darß (komoot.de/tour/685426410) with a refreshing iced coffee at the end in Wieck am Darß, I use my bus day pass to go to Zingst. It's only early afternoon, so why not spend more time on the Darß or Zingst.
I get out on the outskirts of the Baltic Sea spa and walk on the Dammweg…

Unfortunately, the sunset was faster than the bus ride from Zingst (see komoot.de/tour/68581420) and so I only reached Ribnitz-Damgarten in the dark and had to do without beautiful sunset pictures. Damn.
I don't see anything from the Ribnitzer See - which is part of the Saaler Bodden. No horizon recognizable…
