At the recommendation of Barbara 😉🙋‍♀️ it was a small but crisp round today. First on the Frauensteig rock - you have a fabulous view from up there. The fog in the valley looked like cotton wool - wonderful.

I recommend starting the round in Falkensteig, since my way to the ruins would be the way to the Frauensteigfelsen, I like to walk the single trails upwards and then the wider trails downwards. (I didn't pay close attention when planning yesterday 😉)

Hello Petra, you walked the ancient path from Bubenstein Castle to Falkenstein Castle, from about 3.2 km to Falkenstein. You haven't seen the ruin somewhere below, there should still be a remains of the tower, but the ruin is somehow forgotten, nowhere drawn. I have to go looking for it sometime!

no Barbara, didn't see anything, maybe at the beautiful rock in photo 19, you can climb up there, but I didn't, annoying, maybe I would have discovered something 😀

I've already been on the rock, it's only a steep descent, it has to be further in the direction of Falkensteig

Barbara, I just discovered Bubenstein Castle on another map, it should be at km 4.28 on the tour, with the short line, there was also a small flat area with a small path to the right, thought it would end there.
