Yes Michael, it was a very varied hike. Nature is not as far there as it is here at 300 m, but these views are also uniquely beautiful.

Hello Angelika. We ran the lap today. We were also in both churches. The one in Stepfershausen was impressively large and very nicely designed. The one in Geba was impressively different due to the atrium-like arrangement of the benches. We saw such a division for the first time in a church today.

If you are already exploring the Wild East, I can recommend Meiningen with its old town, theater, Elisabethenburg Castle and Landsberg as well. (I lived there for 10 years.)

@ Heiko, yes Meiningen is also on our plan. I've already been to Meiningen for a weekend with our bike group. Slept in prison and looked at each other a lot. We also walked a bit on the Meininger. Great city.
