For the first time since the tower opened, I was listening this afternoon. My plan worked, there were only a few people around.

So far I've always had too many people around. That's why we stopped halfway up in winter.

The Lauschegipfel is highly recommended when visibility is good. The tower offers an even better view.

Gastronomy on the Czech side has partially reopened, but only in street sales, as I've seen.

But I wasn't "down" in Jägerdörfel until around 5pm.

Contemplation was not my goal today either.

Oh well, listen. Your heart opens up. Only the tower 🤔 I don't really know. It always seems to me as if someone has forgotten a floor there. You don't have a complete all-round view. To the right of the high forest there is a long way missing 🤷‍♂️ It's a shame, actually.

Did some research: The outdoor restaurant in the Czech Republic opens tomorrow. Now nothing stands in the way of the super combo Lausche & Gulasch with dumplings 😃

The restaurateurs in the Czech Republic will certainly need a few days of lead time. The announcement of the admission of the small border traffic came as surprising on Thursday as the announcement of the border opening by Günther Schabowski on November 9th, 1989.

Thanks Torsten, good advice. Then we like to give our Czech friends a bigger head start than Schabowski the GDR border guard before we overrun them because of Šopský salát and Smažený sýr. Oh yes, and of course the Guláš 😋
