The Hornisgrinde in the snow just looks overwhelming. Totally beautiful in summer, but the winter landscape as if it's not here in the Black Forest at all, but somewhere far away ❄️

@Xrunfun and @ursa actually it wasn't that cold (-1 / -2 degrees) but that's enough for the wind to form the most amazing structures. Absolutely gorgeous and unreal. On the 600 meter high Mercury there is not a single flake of snow and up here the winter paradise.

Yes Iris and Frank I like the Hornisgrinde in all seasons. It is a very special place because of the surroundings with the ox barn, beaver cauldron or the cat's head.

My snowshoes were very cool today, but the snow wouldn't have been enough for me.
