Uli Haus Ostendorf is fairly unknown, there is actually not that much to see. But you can say you were there once 😎🤪 Certainly doable as an intermediate goal ☺️ and.. You don't "have to" do anything 😅

Palaces, castles or their ruins are a "must" for me. I like to hike there (or ride my bike there).

As luck would have it, I had a planned tour past Shaft 8. Retrofitting the Ostendorf house was no longer difficult. Without your advice I would have passed it.
