That was our last tour in the beautiful and sunny Vinschgau.
On the way home, it rained from Reschen and then throughout Austria. And not only today. That is one of the reasons why we always go on holiday in Val Venosta, south of the main Alpine ridge
107 photos. Respect 😀
Now you have to get used again to rain and gray sky ... wish you good reunion !!!
Very nice pictures and great tour at the end 👍🤗 The cow on Figure 18 is the blast 😉😅 And like your two ladies 51 waiting for you is well worth seeing 😉 And 🐩 on picture 81 is too funny again 😍 Tomorrow, there are unfortunately Rain 😱🙄 Still welcome back 😁
Thank you, dear ones. I would like to stay there and make a tour in the dry tomorrow.
I opposed the cow on picture # 18. She wanted to follow Curly.
Hmm, she just wanted to play 😉😅
Oh dear, luckily she did not "run away" on your red pants! ;-)
We have often had encounters with cows. Was never a problem. They are often very curious and want to try Curly. She used to be less afraid of cows and often had nose to nose encounters.
If she does not trust herself anymore, she will be carried.
Since we have to go on vacation. So far, you have only really nice
Tours published. Thank you for sharing.
Oh yes Matthias, it's worth it.
The Vinschgau is one of the driest valleys in the Alps. So ideal for hiking. And at about 60km you will experience extreme contrasts: from the 2760m high Stelvio with its glaciers down to just before Merano with its palm trees and cactus there is something for everyone…
My question suits the topic, Klaus: Did you have a fixed location in the 14 days or do you change your lodging within the holidays depending on your hiking plans? (because of the distances)
We were in the same hotel all the years and will go there again and again ;-)
This time we made a tour from our hotel and used the car for everyone else. The longest route was to Martelltall (1.5 hour drive)
You can also take bus and train. But then you have to change every now and then has waiting times…
