The Maare-Mosel bike path is one of my most beautiful cycling routes. You start at the train station in Daun and drive the MMR path towards Lieser. The old railway line is nicely paved and well signposted. No mopeds or cars are allowed on the MMR route and the route runs with a very slight slope towards the model, which makes cycling easier.

Bike tour from Lieser to Daun train station and back, ridden on September 3, 2020 with e-bike highly recommended and on the way back a stop at the garden restaurant in Platten.

Very nicely laid out bike path consistently very easy to ride the signs to the MMR are sufficient. The bike path goes over viaducts and through tunnels to the Moselle in Bernkastel
