Lugar favorito para bici de carretera
The Campolongo is the "smallest" of the Dolomite passes and the difference in altitude to be overcome is rather manageable at 368 meters (north approach from Corvara). Nevertheless, it is a beautiful route: You look down on lush mountain meadows on one side and up on the rugged rock faces of the Sella massif on the other. On the Sella Ronda he is “the fourth in the league” and more like the little “connoisseur pass” than the tough challenge.

Be careful when descending from Campolongo to Corvara. According to a local resident, this pass descent with all its wonderful loops is built on an old mud flood that keeps falling. Sometimes there are quite high heels in the asphalt because another piece of the road has sagged. The road builders patch it up every year. But according to the motto "Plug a hole, open a new one", this is a hopeless fight.

The high point of the Campolongo comes quickly when you start from Arabba, making for an ‘easy’ ascent, although in our case we took on the harder side later in the day

Los Dolomitas son preciosos y este entorno más si cabe, las ascensiones de estos puertos y el entorno es espectacular.
Sin duda son lugares que un ciclista debe conocer.

Not the most challenging climb of the Dolomites, but the road between Corvara and the top is rocking! Nice for descending because of the many hairpins and the renewed the tarmac early 2021.

The Campolongo pass is an alpine pass in the Dolomites located at 1,875 m a.s.l., on the border between Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige. It is located immediately east of the Sella Group, and connects Arabba with Corvara in Badia, thus joining the Val Cordevole with the Val Badia.
