Our first hike in the Westerwald ☀️🥾
I don't even know why we haven't had the Westerwald as a hiking region on our radar so far 🤔 it can be reached so quickly from Cologne!

Nice tour - unfortunately with just as much drought damage as everywhere. 👍🙂😐
Well Germany also has something and the Westerwald even more so. But sometimes a lot of trees are missing! Brown and deforested areas are currently. unfortunately there too.
Yes, unfortunately that's true 🥴 there were really many bald spots with tree damage 😕
How nice that you enjoyed your stay with us in the Westerwald. Next time try the Wäller Tour Augst, which is also very varied and very beautiful.
