Today I visited the nature reserve "Hell of Rockenberg" with Nelly.



Actually, my personal highlight at this place is or was the sandstone quarry behind it.

In the meantime, however, this break is being filled with all kinds of rubble, rock from road construction and excavated earth at high pressure.

The quarry itself is not part of the nature reserve.

It is directly adjacent to this area and I found it, when it was still open, to be even more beautiful and exciting than the nature reserve itself☺️.
