The district of Heinsberg (the westernmost in Germany) became known nationwide through the first German Covid cases.

The district deserves this for its floodplain landscapes, primeval forests, Myhler Switzerland, countless ponds and interesting castles.

A nice tour and a jagged trip! 👍 The region is really great. I was regularly busy in Wegberg for a number of years, so I know the area well and have driven there a lot. Even better when you can cross the border. 🥞 🙂

Yes, De Meinweg would have fit in well. The cycle road with perhaps the best surface in the area ... but is not the required valid reason for an entry.
