Get on your bike in the morning when it rains lightly. Shortly afterwards the rain got heavier. Funny. There was nothing about it in the weather report. But it doesn't matter. There is no bad weather, only bad clothing). So I cycled on comfortably. After 15km a bitter surprise 🤨. No more air on the…
Wow, mega round tour 👏💪
And then there are such annoyances & circumstances 😲
Respect for passion
crazy what can happen on a bike tour 🙄🤏
great that you didn’t let yourself get down and were still able to enjoy the beauty of the tour !!!! That will definitely be rewarded next time :-)
Whatever happens ... keep going 👍 RESPECT
@Christan, Eckart, Bettina and Heiko: Many thanks to you for the nice contributions. There is still good news. My battery is alive again. The dampness brought him to his knees. But it dried overnight and is fully functional again. 👌
I wish you a nice evening. See you soon 🚴♂️
Great tour, I already know Kinzigtal, but your contribution also motivates to tackle the unknown part. The pictures give a very good impression of the beauty of the route! Looks like MTB is a better choice compared to touring bike (I have both in the stable).
Thank you Haibike driver. For the first section, a MTB would definitely have been the better choice. 👌 I have the widest knobby tires that fit into the frame on my bike. Is a very good compromise.
I would like to rent a gravel bike and test it. But you don't happen to have one in the stable? 😉
Best wishes.
No, unfortunately not 😉 ...
I put the Mondial from Schwalbe (55) on my touring bike, that's a good compromise.
Good on the road and good in easy terrain. It only becomes difficult with mud or coarse gravel.
So. A new rear tire is on and has already survived the first 50km. So it can go on. See you again soon 😉
wow that is unbelievable god should protect and bless you on further such tours
