Already very early on Sunday morning from Beuron Abbey along the Danube. The dew is still on the grass and the fog is rising from the fields.
A wonderful path runs parallel to the river. The monastery looks particularly attractive in the early sunlight.
High rocks accompany you on the hike. After a while…
Hello Lukas, I did some research on the internet that the jetty at the Jägerhaus no longer exists and that stepping stones were laid for the river crossing in 2019. Presumably the water level is currently too high so that the step aids cannot be seen. Would like to hike in the corner soon.
🤣 A richer experience. 🤣Great photos.🔝👍🏻
Oh, that's a shame with the (not) crossing 🙈
But it's great that you point it out.
The joggers must have run dry again immediately🤭
@Dieter
I also read it once. We really didn't see the stepping stones. You can see it in the pictures. However, as you suspected, the water level was really high.
@NoWaElke
Many Thanks. Nice of you
@Tine
Despite their wet pants, the joggers bravely put their shoes back on and bravely ran on. Our short question: "Was it cold?" was answered shakily with a "ja-a-a-a". "Cool" guys. 🙂
The Danube can only be crossed using the stepping stones. The water level is currently too high.
Usually there is a ferryman who takes the hikers and cyclists to the other side for € 5.
Probably had a day off 🤔
@Claudi
Hello Claudi, thank you very much for the info. I saw the boat and hoped that there would be something like a ferry service. Maybe we were just out a little early. And we actually didn't notice any of the stepping stones ...
Have a good week🌞
Hello Lukas! Very nice tour 👍. Let's be honest ... there's something about crossing the Danube ... of course with a little less water 😉.
@Christof
But of course. No question about it. Only swimming is a little cold
