In the course of life, people are sometimes faced with difficult and far-reaching decisions. This is what happened to me tonight when I found my long-forgotten running shoes behind my whiskey collection ...
How the decision turned out can be seen from the track.
Thank you for your decision-making help! Lagavulin is certainly the most moderate whiskey on the south coast of Islay: complex, balanced and smoky. 🧨I also appreciate the neighboring distilleries Laphroaig and Ardbeg. 🤔
I actually don't know the Benriach bottling in question. I was only aware of smoky distillates from Benromach. At the moment a Laphroaig Lore is waiting for me to open the cork.
Maybe there will be a joint malt tasting in the wild or something similar.
We went on a snow tour with a couple of MTB friends during the tough last winter and everyone had a small thermos with mulled wine / punch with them. So we had a nice break at the ruins of the Kerstlingeröder field :-D

I would have taken the Lagavulin. If I remember correctly, that's the one with the pleasant smoky aroma.
Whiskey fan? 🥃?
Like Upstream, I would probably have chosen from my collection 🤪.
Then there would be no track from me 😆.
Neither are there.
Today.
Why?
Exactly☝! 🤣
The route looks very familiar to me in parts 😉!
My dear Martl now also surprises me with his 🏃♂️ performance! 🔝💪
Not that I wouldn't trust you ... 🤭
But without a doubt I would have overlooked the running shoes behind the collection ... 😀🥃
Keep it up ..... 🏆
To be honest: Bad decision 😅 The shoes would have waited ...

@Bikerlady
So you also have a whiskey collection?
After the run I got myself…
Yes, Martl 😇.
My collection goes to the Scottish Highlands.
But instead of Islay a Dornfelder Cuvee?
Anyway, you've earned it 😀👍
But if that is the case with you, then your performance should be rated much higher .....
🏆🏃♂️🥇
I can't get the song "Lady Whiskey" by Udo L. out of my head in this context. By the way, Udo now also opts for the sneakers ..... 🤣🤣🤣😎🎩
This world can anyway
To be so indescribably beautiful
And with the high-proof bride
He became known
Respect for these big rounds!
Well then after the tour: "slàinte mhath".
I also like the smoky Islay's, but currently my collection is more geared towards the Speyside (Glenfarclas, Edradour, Glendronach, Macallan, etc.)
I can recommend a mildly smoky Benriach Septendecim :-)
Hello Emitter1,
Thank you for your kind lines and hints!

Good idea!
