This round trip connects two of the most beautiful valleys in the Taunus while avoiding most of the gradients. So it is also perfect for families. The tour starts in Idstein, which is well connected with the regional train from Limburg or Frankfurt, for example. But also in other places like Bad Camberg, Selters or Brechen it is easy to get on by train. After you leave Idstein behind you, you first set a course for Walsdorf and then dive into the Goldener Grund. In this fertile area, the grain fields stand in full splendor between the surrounding hills of the low mountain range in summer. You continue to follow the valley of the Emsbach Valley and drive through picturesque places such as Bad Camberg, Oberselters and Niederselters. If you think of bottled water when you hear the name Selters, you are not wrong. You can find out more about the interesting history of the noble drop in the Selterswasser Museum. When you break down, you come across the Wörsbach, whose valley you follow from here. On your way there are dreamy half-timbered villages such as Werschau, Dauborn and Gnadenthal. It is now slightly uphill, but due to the slight incline, this is not a problem at all. You drive through beautiful wooded areas and fields towards Wallrabenstein. The last village before you get back to your starting point in Idstein is Wörsdorf.
