Today we were out with my parents, my dad really wanted to see the tunnel 😊 The tunnel is now well known and speaks for itself. So that we don't just walk back and forth, we are on the Eistal Viaduct down to the Eiswoog, to the disused wagons and to the Stumpfwaldgericht. So it was a nice round.

a) Dejavu, my feet hurt again at the sleepers ... 🥾😃

b) Apparently nobody picks up the fire extinguisher either ... 😀

I also found the tunnel pretty cool and the view from the Ice Valley Viaduct anyway. I think it's pretty great that your parents go along with that.

@Kauai: highly recommended, this is our third time there and it's always great! Especially because of the long distance on the tracks and the bridges! We also made a note of the Fehrbach tunnel, I even think of you!

Yes, that was from me. I recently included the two portals as highlights. On our second tour, we walked the old tracks even longer. But there are so many trees lying around. And at some point it didn't go any further. Wasn't that blocked for you today?

The route was cleared once last year. Last year we had to get off the tracks. Now it is possible, from time to time under or over a fallen tree, but it is easy to do.
