Ah, the DWD measuring station Vielbrunn. As someone interested in the weather, I have wanted to stop by there for a long time, not just because of the station.

@hiking with Finn, thank you Andrea we were able to enjoy the history very well with breakfast 😊

After the corona has receded somewhat and we are now vaccinated, we are back to our full MoW number of 4 people

@KW is right again a little more than a stone's throw away. You saw the signpost to the historic waterworks at the parking lot

@Steffen K. with us it was more or less a coincidence that we passed the measuring station 🙄

Can this be visited?

As far as I know, these stations cannot be visited because there are no employees on site. There is a DWD station at Offenbach's weather park - which, by the way, is an interesting excursion destination - which you can overlook from a small gallery and thus see all the measuring instruments (including an explanatory board).

Oh yes, the MoWas will be more I counted 3, but I probably didn't look properly🤓 - you did a nice tour together ... 👍🏻❗

The MoW is true there were three of us this week, but next week we will be 4 😊 again
