A super nice tour! The weather played along, sunny but not too hot. I started shortly after 7 a.m. in Retz, past the windmill on the Kalvarienberg. There a short photo shoot with the 300 year old crucifixion group and on to the Holy Stone.
This was followed by the Thaya crossing over the suspension bridge…
Here is the video of this wonderful tour:
Among other things, I find your tour planning always quite impressive, how long do you sit on it until you have it final. What I would also be interested in is how often you have to take unplanned detours, for example, because paths are blocked or no longer exist or are drivable even though it often…
A great tour, great photos and great video (as always), I'll copy them and follow them! LG Hannes
@ ChTh- you are a veteran in tour planning, biking, rescheduling at short notice (when Komoot sends you into nirvana 😅) and finally in preparing (text and video) your tours for us Komootlers.
Another perfect tour 😊.
😊 Thank you Elke and have a nice holiday 🏖️ 🌞 🇮🇹
#Mario, thank you very much and I'm glad that some of my tours have been an inspiration for you 😊.
The tour planning itself is usually "relatively quick", usually a 1/2 to a maximum of 1 hour, depends of course on the route and whether or how often I change the tour after the initial planning 😅.

#Hannes, I hope you enjoy doing this tour.
A few small hints: at km 28.5 I got lost a little and looked for the way, but you can see it when you zoom in on the route.
At km 35.7 after the "Little Golden Gate Bridge" the climb goes up to a 21 ° gradient, but you are mostly on the road with an e-bike anyway…
Thank you for these detailed information. LG
Nice tour 👍
I myself always like to drive around the Thayatal National Park, an incredibly beautiful area including the Vranov reservoir.
@ChTh thanks first for the detailed information. I have just seen that you are often on the road in the Czech Republic, especially since it happened to me relatively often that Koomot sends me on routes that are actually none or no longer exist. This also happens to me more often in Slovakia and Hungary…
In the end, most of the time is always spent on the video, which also holds up something on the tour 😅, especially if you change the camera perspective so that it doesn't get bland. But with videos, the tours are also vividly remembered for much longer.
