A weekend in old walls ... We move into the Barbarossaturm of Berwartstein Castle for a hiking weekend 😊

To get started, there was a short tour from the Berwartstein car park to the Schniddelfels viewpoint. A small, fine round! Now it's time to go to the Burgschänke to fortify yourself and tomorrow there's a "real" tour 🤪

Thank you! @ Juliet, yes there are 2 rooms in the castle that are rented out. Highly recommended, you can move freely in the castle and enjoy the sunset on the castle terrace in the evening.

@Ralph, it still tweaks a bit but it will be. Next weekend we will start cycling in the city, so we have to collect kilometers.

Nice and at the Seehofweiher you can swim and refresh yourself after a hike!
