I was wondering and wanted to ask if the Wegelnburg is open again. Fences are foams or something; 🤣. The renovated walls in the photo look pretty good. Great tour.

After a lot of hikers have come in and there is no construction work taking place on Sunday, we are just inside. Think that was almost legal 🙉🙊🙈

Thank you! Yes that was really a great weekend! I think that construction work is carried out on the Wegelnburg during the week and then you can't get in. There is a large scaffolding below. But we can really recommend the tour.

The 4 castle tour with Gimbelhof from Nothweiler is a “must” in Wasgau! 👍 on our last visit 3 years ago they had just scaffolded the wonderful viewing platform of the Wegelnburg. We had fantastic weather there, but the scaffolding didn't look so nice. But they did a great job of renovating the wall all around! 😀

The views over the mountains are wonderful 👍
