I was in Erlensee about 3 weeks ago to check on the beautiful water buffalo ... But nothing? ... They weren't there. Are they already in their winter quarters?
also depends on where you looked 🤔 sometimes they are well hidden at the back of the forest by the large water hole / lake. most people flocked there today. we didn't want to be in the crowd too.
I / we were lucky a couple of times that they were bobbing up front in the small waterhole. then you can even see it from across the street from the AB connection 👀
We were able to observe the wild horses extensively in the Camargue, that was wild horse enough😊

You are like me. I've never seen a water buffalo there either. Just like in Großauheim, I've never seen a wild horse there either.

I also saw a lot in the Carmargue. But I was born in Großauheim and am in Großauheim every week and still haven't seen one.
