After a two-week break in the game because of my bike tour, I was back today as a referee for the game between Blau-Weiß Mahlsdorf Waldesruh and Rot-Weiß 90 Hellersdorf. The game ended 4: 2 (2: 2) and there were three yellow cards (warnings), which were distributed 1: 2. The goal sequence was: 0: 1…
I always enjoy reading your match reports.
But you don't do it under 3 yellow cards, right ?! 😀
@ Gunther: I'm glad that you like to read my game reports. With three yellow cards I'm under the Berlin cut. I always try to use personal punishments (the cards) as sparingly as possible. There have also been phases in which I haven't used any cards (other than my game note card) for weeks.
Thanks for the information.
For me, the games where there were a lot of cards are more likely to stay in my memory - it's just more impressive.
I find a good attitude to leave the card in if in doubt.
@Gunther: Yes, we are amateurs and not professionals and after all, we want to enjoy football. But the football associations are currently tending to give us referees more and more situations in which personal penalties have to be pronounced. I don't think that makes it any easier for the players or the referees.
