On our onward journey we came through the small town of Šlegovo, where we stopped at a mini market - more like a corner shop - to buy water and a few sweets. There was a monastery across from the shop and we decided to stroll a little through the town.
The monastery was closed and looked rather deserted…
Oh man, with the conditions you have to swallow first… .👁🔝📷
There are only very few pictures, but they have a strong expressiveness and have touched me.
Wow, other nations have different priorities. The houses are falling into disrepair, but the graves are made of the finest marble. My respect!
The simple life in the country and not that far away from us is very impressive and also very appealing 😉
Would be delightful if it weren't for all the dirt. A country is drowning in trash.
Yes, Burkhard, you have to struggle with the situation first. But in retrospect (I'm back home right now) the horrors are losing their strength and the whole two-day tour was worth it
I am very happy, Silvia, when my pictures touch you. Every photographer would like that.
If Jörg is correct, a large part of the coal seems to find its way into the tombs here. The locals also confirm this. Another large part of the money, some of which was borrowed especially for this, goes to weddings.
It's not far away, Lemmi, but unfortunately there are only a few direct flights left. And so you are on the road for a good half a day.
I don't want to evaluate the living conditions. The last time I was in that region was when it was still called Yugoslavia - it hasn't changed much visually. In terms of the pictures, I like the second one with its clean lines and shapes.
I also have the feeling, Kiesel, that not too much will change there over the next few decades.
