There are very special family get-togethers in Madagascar: every few years the living get their dead relatives out of the crypt and tell them the latest news - a tradition with pitfalls.

Ziegler's interpretation is interesting ... I guess that the roots reach deeper ... the grown structures only fertilize the soil far too well 😅

Whoever dies later has more from life

In Mexico one visits with music, drinks and food on November 1st. the deceased in the cemetery and celebrate with them.

It's also a nice custom.
