The famously infamous and feared Rapha Prestige is back!
Every year Rapha organizes various 'prestige' rides all over the world, which - the name says it all - are quite prestigious. The locations are special, often heavy. The rides are long and beautiful. They are all rides that you don't just cycle…
Looks awful! So I understand perfectly
it was as always a blast 🤘
Really ugly hard enjoyment @ the prestige… as always haha. As for the GRANGUANCHE Audax Trail, it is indeed coming Cees… I'm really looking forward to it! 🙌✨
...the ugliest city in the world, pff, what bullshit. I see you didn't even drive into town. And the snapshots you put together seem only to confirm the cliché. I know the area quite well, and I usually come home with a lot of other photos.
I like to refer to my quote "I don't come up with this myself" dear Koen ;-)
have I seen dear Erwin; Did you actually click on the BBC link? I do. And the choice of photos? Not done it yourself?
Hi Koen. "Ugliest city" is of course a nickname. In addition, as a photographer I think there is beauty in the ugly… that's what we looked for with this ride... but as you can see, the ride took place 95% outside the city. But apparently it makes you angry that I enjoy a nice ride that way, too bad man…
Let's keep it cozy; I invite you to come and do a real gravel ride with people from the region in Charleroi and the beautiful countryside around it. There are a lot of gravel paths that you have not managed to find. And a lot of opportunities for beautiful photos
Thanks for the invite. For now, enough other things in the agenda to discover, but it certainly tasted like more. Gravel will definitely be great. This was a road bike trip, so logically there was less unpaved in it. Something else to come back for so
