The main hike from the Erzgebirge weekend was on Saturday.



From Oberwiesenthal we went over the ski jumps to the memorial stone of Dr. med. Erwin Jaeger, an honorary citizen of Oberwiesenthal.

The closer we got to the summit of the Fichtelberg, the colder it got.

Change by train 3 times, from Chemnitz bus to Annaberg-Buchholz and on to Oberwiesenthal. With a car is better.

Thank you for your praise, I drove to Oberwiesenthal by car, I stayed in Crottendorf, north of Oberwiesenthal.

With the train I would have needed 6 hours to Oberwiesenthal with 4x changes.



A very beautiful winter sports resort and at 915 m above sea level, it is the highest town in Germany.

Great pictures and better weather like in the Fichtel Mountains. 👍🙋‍♂️
