I also saw the sea of fog including the nuclear power plant steam cloud today, but from the Alpstein (AI) ...
Unfortunately for me it didn't work out with the sun - we were on "my" local mountain, Rüsler
thick in the fog ...
Was very close, it was enough for the last 20 meters
The seasonal bike stand on the penultimate photo looks cool 😀
On the north side from 800 m above sea level there are still some of these stands❄️
do you ride with normal tires or with spikes? mega beautiful photos🥰
With normal!
And that works well in the snow ?! I mean the grip and slipping.
In dry snow quite good, in wet snow and ice the highest risk of slipping, for me it is not worthwhile to mount spike tires because there is seldom long snow in the lower part of the camps!
I thought so, but you are also an experienced biker😃, not like us🤣🤣
... I also thought about the spikes, but a colleague who has been using them for 2 years has confirmed to me that they only work when the ice is bare.
Then I bought Kenda downhill slippers and I'm very satisfied with them. In snow it depends on the profile and the (as soft as possible) rubber mixture ...
Really lucky with the cloud line👍
I also saw the nuclear power station, from
D-Belchen off. On my sunrise snowshoe tour
