A Sunday in September. The weather couldn't have been better.
So what are we doing today?
On the one hand it's "Memorial Day", something has to be interesting. So I didn't think the idea of making a detour to the B134a air raid shelter in Krumpa was so wrong.
"The air raid shelter B134a is a relic from the Second World War. This bunker was one of a total of 8 air raid shelters in the former Lützkendorf fuel plant, which were built after the first attacks in May 1944 to protect the members of the workforce. This was mainly developed for the chemical industry The standard building type "Salzgitter" is characterized in 1944 by a relatively fast construction method of only 3 months. A total of 16 air raid shelters of different sizes were planned in the plant, which could no longer be fully implemented due to a shortage of materials. Soo, now I was back at Geiseltalsee and immediately got the idea, "Go looking for ancestors again". So on a short walk to Gröst. This is where the oldest information from the K. line suggests me. Johann (Hanß) K., * around 1642, baker in Gröst. Fortunately, it was also here today for the T.d.o.D. the gates open. Nice community workers, female, showed me the walls in a friendly manner, the church tower was also included. Entertaining banter about genealogy even helped me to get in touch, which I will make in the next few days. There is a Ms. E. who has ALL the data here from the church. Yep, maybe I'll get further there. Finally stole a piece of the cake that had just been brought, it was not bad and we went on.
Now came part 3 of the matter.
I always thought to myself, "Man Braunsdorf and Gröst are not that far away from Freyburg". Höhöö, Exactly, ... Let's go!
Onward march across fields and forests to Freyburg a.d.U.
It was a winegrowing festival here, and the wine queen was not from bad parents either. The classic Proseccoèchen was also part of the compulsory freestyle. Likewise, the classic bratwurst on Mühlenstrasse.
All in all a very nice autumn tour with 3 G`s.
History, history and enjoyment.

Saturday, something has to happen today!
That was the plan.
Senderisma had Fiffi this morning, spray ...,
or what do I know what.
Okay, so it is every now and then.
Nonetheless, put on your hiking boots,
Now today is the actual Burgstädt tour.
Planned a long time ago
but for whatever reason
so far always done differently.
With the RE6 to Narsdorf and off you go.
After a good 1.5 hours on the Muldenstrande, ISO break.
Now on to Lunzenau.
Lunzenau was the real obstacle,
why I always did the tours differently.
Lunzenau, I always thought Lunzenau wasn't worth it.
I have to say, it wasn't that bad at all.
On to Rochsburg, but not to the castle,
I already knew it.
On to the hiking beer garden.
I knew it too, but right there.
It was wonderful to watch the river.
It doesn't help, then on through the Brausetal
A wonderful day of hiking.
