We started from the Birnau / Maurach campsite. The cycle path to Überlingen is well signposted and easy to ride on paved paths. Many beautiful views along the lake. In Nussdorf there is a very pleasant shady place for a break with a view of the lake.
Überlingen is always worth a visit.
On the way back we visited the Birnau monastery church, which is well worth seeing. The view over the lake is unique. A very pleasant tour in wonderful weather.

The starting point for our tour was today at the restaurant Im Vorbei at the Birnau / Maurach campsite. That is already a tradition after Hagnau to the winegrowers' association 🍷 and of course Eis Kibele 😋 ... and we stick to traditions 👍😃
We went to Unteruhldingen on the promenade at the marina on well-developed and signposted cycle paths. The bike-footpath to Meersburg leads along Lake Constance and the road. Today it is very busy and yet some contemporaries think they have to drive next to each other.
The cycle path leads through the city gate at the harbor to the harbor and past the Meersburg thermal baths. The rest of the way is a pleasure. Lake Constance on the right, vineyards on the left. Once in Hagnau, the Seestrasse is not allowed to pass through, bicycles are not allowed. This is also a better way to find a nice place to refresh yourself. And of course, traditionally an ice cream at Kibele 😋
Below the Winzerverein am See there is a park with a wonderful view of the lake ..😃

With mixed weather today, the tour turned out to be very small .. We actually wanted to Salem .. After the first shower to Unteruhldingen in the harbor on well-developed bike paths, it got drawn again and so we are on the way back to the Besenwirtschaft Jammer never returned to sit out the next shower (with wine spritzer and lard) ... Great broom bar and a farm shop that surprises with the rich offer.

Small tour in the warm weather today to a cold cyclist in the beer garden at the bird park in Hambrücken. Paths are very easy to drive on, the way there is mostly shady, the way back over the fields is a bit sunnier ☀️🚵 Beer garden is open from Thursday to Sunday. Sunday from 12 p.m., otherwise from 5 p.m.

A short afternoon tour to Blankenloch to the local museum. An interesting half-timbered building, one of the oldest buildings in Blankenloch. The half-timbered building is from around 1600. The museum and museum café were closed today and are only open occasionally.
Cycle paths along gardens and through Hagsfeld are easy to ride. After Büchig it goes a bit along the rails towards Blankenloch. The storks were nice to watch in the mown fields in front of Blankenloch.

Today at the Rüsselsheim jetty, we saw a beautiful bike and footpath towards Gustavsburg and we walked a little way along it. The path is paved and turns into the Opel Steg. The Opel footbridge is made of metal and leads directly along the Main. After the footbridge, continue on the paved path. A small path leads to a quiet place on the banks of the Main.
Today on Sunday the path is very busy and not so pleasant for us as pedestrians, better safe for pedestrians and cyclists on weekdays. We'll be cycling the way one day, so many cyclists can't be wrong 😉😁
The planes that fly to the airport every 2 minutes take getting used to, but they are also very interesting.

Today on different paths: quiet side streets, bike paths and along beautiful allotment gardens via Rintheim train stations and the old Hagsfeld train station to the Pfinzentlastungskanal at Reitschulschlag. Since the cycle path is closed due to flooding and silting, as is the access via the rails, we are back again. Back a little differently via bike path, quiet side streets and beautiful allotment gardens to the Rintheimer train station. After a short stop 🍺😁 back to Oststadt 🚴♂️🚴♀️
Interesting the protection zones for the crested lark. It's nice that there are still places in the fields for the rare birds 👍👍

Today we have chosen a tour with mostly shady paths. Start at the ducal burial chapel, which is open again. We absolutely have to go there. I only know closed. Continue on the cycle path at Adenauerring to the KSC stadium, unfortunately the Stutensee Allee is closed due to construction work, but the diversion is signposted. We almost overlooked our next destination, Karlsruhe Mundwerk, which is currently very overgrown.
Along the Stutenseer Allee you meet the Baro-Allee, one of our favorite stretches. A very nice route along the Pfinzentlastungskanal to enjoy. Back along Grabener Allee and Karl Knierer Weg (seen at Scout Jens, great tip)
We were even lucky enough to spontaneously get a seat on the beautiful terrace on the way back at DJK Ost without an appointment 😀🍺🍷
A pleasant tour on less frequented paths, a beautiful afternoon after a strenuous week 😊

Planned as an ice cream tour from Oststadt to Eggenstein .. But unfortunately the line in front of the ice cream parlor was so long. That's why we continued to La Belle and that was a good decision 😊
Paved roads, easy to drive on. The way to La Belle along the Rhine doesn't lead any further and after a nice break and soak up the sun, we went back home to Karlsruhe on, luckily, not so heavily frequented bike paths 🚲🚲☀️☀️
