After the duck and the dumplings we went in the direction of Kroonich and up to Schmölz in the Schmölzer brewery garden. In a wonderful location, you can take a long break here ... The Schmölzer Kellerseidla is very tasty, there is also the palate flatterer, a beer in the Bohemian style, according to fa * eb * ok ...After visiting the beer garden, I drove home through Mitwitz in the best beer mood and a few more small trails in the Gefeller / Neuhäuser Kiefernwald ... :-))

Nothing spectacular, just a little speed round before the Sunday roast (duck and dumplings) was served ... 🤪😋

Today (and possibly also tomorrow) I had to do a simpler and more dignified tour, because I received my second vaccination drone 2 days ago and want to go to the number "safety first" ...Last week, when Rob Hefner and myself were taking the train home from Breitengüßbach, we met beer connoisseurs from our homeland on the train. An interesting conversation developed and we were strongly recommended the Endres brewery in Höfen near Rattelsdorf! So yesterday I thought to myself, do it today and drive over the Mürsbach Trail to Mürsbach and get really fat before I sit down on the beer bench ... (Ok, I didn't really think that yesterday, but that's how it ended today )! :-))From Coburg I drove the "Anti Radweg" tour and landed on the above-mentioned trail. My face, that was a mess. Totally soggy, slimy mud, mosquitoes without end and danger of ticks. Well, once started, you pull it off.In Mürsbach there was cellar beer, in Höfen there was beer (there is only one brand here) as well as the finest home-style cooking and in Binkert there was again cellar beer ...Even the train was considerate of me. The train was 20 minutes late and so I was able to take more time in the Binkert than I had planned. ;-)In the end it was a great tour, with great weather, great food and endlessly good home-brewed beer.My goodness ... I'll be back, maybe tomorrow ... :-))

This lap today is easy to describe.I started in Sonneberg, no rain / thunderstorm was predicted for the rest of the day. Shortly before Beikheim, however, things looked completely different again (like so often the last few days), which is why I drove straight away towards Kronach and not via Redwitz as always.Unfortunately, the rain clouds moved from north to south, I was just south of this and had to go north. In Tüschnitz it was announced again to seek refuge in the bus stop ...: - /After almost an hour it was all over again and I drove on to Landgasthof Detsch in Haig. It is really wonderful that you can come back.3 courses later we went home in the setting sun!Have a nice evening!

My evening round today was under the motto "Visit a beer garden at Reeb in Oberlangenstadt". I've driven by here umpteen times, but never returned ...So today should be THE day ... :-))Before that, of course, it was time to seek shelter again, from thunderstorms and insane rains. In Unterlangenstadt on the canopy of the fire brigade, as well as between the two villages at the sewage treatment plant ...: - /Then, as the rain subsided, I started to the beer garden. A very nice operator showed me a dry place and the Gampert was not long in coming. Usually the beer is not my favorite, but on tap it fits ... The snack was a poem and the chat with the owner and the two golfers (who came from the Nageler golf course) was interesting ... :-))In the end I accelerated to avoid getting caught in the rain a third time.Have a nice evening!

On Saturday afternoon I wanted to do a short lap. Between housekeeping and shopping ...I checked the weather again around 2pm, everything looked good.So I drove off, in good spirits, and in the end I planned to stop in Schmölz in the beer garden.Unfortunately the sky opened its locks shortly before Horb an der Steinach. First I looked for protection under a tree, but when a violent thunderstorm came along, I took refuge in the Horber bus stop ... :-))Completely soaked, I soon began to freeze and decided to stop and let myself be picked up. It's good that I have a reliable driver service on "speed dial" ... :-))

Here is the 2nd part of today's tour:Shortly after half past ten I drove off to meet Rob Hefner in Coburg. The plan was to go to Mürsbach and stop off at the Sonnenäu!On the way we wanted to "take" the Maximiliansweg and the Carlspfad on the Banzberg! So far so good! The fusion of bikers took place on the Schloßplatz in Coburg! We drove up and down past the Untersiemau Castle to Banzberg before we arrived at the start of the Maximilianweg! There (in the forest) we made the acquaintance of a "nice" driver who, well, let's say "reprimanded" us in the worst possible way! When we briefly reassured ourselves with the police, we started the two sensational trails "Maximiliansweg" and "Carlspfad"! ;-)Then it went up and down a bit before we arrived at Itzgrund. Actually we wanted to ride the "Mürsbach Trail", but we discarded that because a thunderstorm was about to come up and we wanted to make it dry to the sun tan. "Hunger and thirst and no blaring !!!" :-))In the end it didn't rain, nor was there a thunderstorm! :-)We drove to the Binkert Bräu in Breitengüßbach and after another stop we went to the train station and from home !!! :-)Good night everyone! It was a great tour!

Part 1 and only one photo, as I accidentally "ended" the tour shortly after Coburg by running my hand too close to the navigation system ...: - /Description of the round follows in Part 2!
