The tour started beautifully, Hohelohe and important for the dogs: water! Unfortunately, I did not notice the VERY DANGEROUS SECTION of the route when planning, I probably would not have taken it seriously either ... the path went up into the forest, narrow and mostly easy to walk. In parts, however, totally washed out, diagonally from the rain and pure earth, and to make that even more difficult there are trees across the path every few meters - which is actually no problem if you can find support on the other side and don't have to pray that you are up the mountain You don't fall down next to the path. Twice it hit me and the third time I completely lost my footing and fell down the slope. I couldn't get up, it was way too steep and too slippery. Fortunately, the Jagst is not that deep, but due to the heavy rain it sometimes has quite strong currents. I only had to walk through the river, and as soon as I went over to the other side, I could at least walk on land there - until an electric fence forced me to continue walking in the river again. So crossed the river again - I lost my footing there too because it suddenly got really deep and the current carried me away. But at some point I made it back on the way in front of the hell trail on which I came and even without a mobile phone - unfortunately got wet - found my way back to the car.

I am totally overwhelmed, great paths, great quarries and everyone is open! Will seriously have to think about moving from Lower to Upper Franconia!
The signs were nicely sorted to the quarries, but Komoot throws everything up
The water in one of the quarries is really so turquoise, in reality it is even more beautiful. No photo shop.

Very nice tour, there was a lot to see, a lot of water, shade and peace. The quarries are unfortunately fenced, in Vorbach you are allowed to enter from 10 a.m., there are chairs to chill out, unfortunately the big one above cannot be entered, but it is also very impressive thanks to the fence.
