Today we went on a short lap near Weinböhla because it is getting dark early. Overall, the hike was okay. The first part up to the moated castle Oberau was less spectacular. The view from Gellertberg to Meissen was the highlight here. The moated castle in Oberau is a beautiful gem. From the bush mill the path turned into a path and led nicely along the stream.

Today, on a rainy winter day, we went to Bad Schandau for the year-end hike. There you have beautiful views above the Elbe valley. Via Ostrau and the Emmabank it went on and on to the Schrammsteinen. The higher you got, the icier the path. The Wildschützenstieg was doable, but it was too smooth and foggy to get to the Schrammstein view. Back it went over the Falkenstein and Ostrau to Bad Schandau. Despite the weather it was a nice tour.

Today's afternoon walk took me from the Naunhof Palace Park to Lauterbach Palace. The paths around the ponds went very well. The way through Naunhof is calm on asphalt roads. Outside the village it goes through the forest on a pleasant walk. I liked Lauterbach Castle a lot. The park looked a bit empty to me.
The way back was on the paved footpath to Naunhof and back to the starting point.

The suggestion for this hike is from the hiking guide Dresden Volume 1 by Rölke. Before it really started, I got food from the local bakery. It was a pleasant way out of Kreischa in the direction of Wilisch. It is always worth looking back to look in the direction of Possendorf / Kreischa. In the forest, the path then climbs continuously before you have a wonderful view of the Eastern Ore Mountains all the way to the Elbland at a rest area. Behind the hut I first visited the lower level of the former basalt quarry and then the upper level. Then it went up to the summit. The view here is also quite ok. It went down along the Wilischbach to the Teufelsmühle. Then up the Teufelsstiege and on the other side of the street along the meadow. The Croatian Gorge was again a pleasant climb. The view from above into the Eastern Ore Mountains, Saxon Switzerland and Dresden is worthwhile. From Maxen it went back to Kreischa via the Lungkwitzer Terrassen.

Today we went with an escort to the rear Saxon Switzerland, which is still somewhat unknown. First we went from the Waldhusche to the Weifberg Tower. There you have a beautiful view. Now it went over wide paths into the Kirnitzschtal. The boat trip on the Upper Lock had to be canceled because of a tree that had not fallen. So we went along the way to Herrmannseck and then to the Rabensteinen. The view of Bohemia was beautiful. Back down into the Kirnitzschtal and across the Lindigt Gorge, we reached the parking lot at the Waldhusche.

Today we went to Maxen. First of all, the average speed is too high. The recording at the lime kiln and the natural stage is also a bit mysterious. I started in the parking lot of the natural stage. First it went down to the lime kiln. A nice place to stay. Then on it and to the natural stage. We continued through Maxen and the castle with a great view towards the Elbe Sandstone Mountains to the Blauer Häusel. Behind it it was really hard downhill into the Müglitztal to Mühlbach. The pleasure was short-lived. Immediately a long and steep climb back up to the Hausdorfer Linde. That dragged on. Shortly before the linden tree, it is worth taking another look at the surrounding area. Along the road and over a dirt road I reached Maxen again. You can make a detour to the Finckenfang. Through the town I reached the parking lot again.
I took the suggestion for a hike from the Hiking & Nature Guide Dresden and Surroundings Volume 1 by Rölke.

Today I used the hiking guide "Dresden und Umgebung Band 1" from Rölke as a template. From this I also took hike 1 that led me around Weesenstein. In the beginning it was relaxed along the Müglitz and the planet path. Then it went with beautiful foresight up to Ploschwitz. Via Falkenhain we went down to Weesenstein with a fantastic view of the castle. A short round through the castle park is a must before it goes up the serpentines in the direction of Meusegast. On the back of the goat you have a beautiful view of the table mountains of Saxon Switzerland. Via fields and Burkhardswalde we went to the Prinzenbank prospect. Here you can see the former halls of Margonwasser, which has its origins here. Down to the Müglitz and along the river I reach the starting point again. On the hike, one also deals again and again with the flood of 2002 which had devastated here.

My next multi-stage route starts where the Malerweg left off. The way to Rabenau led me over quiet streets and some paths. On the way there are many beautiful views of Saxon Switzerland, the Eastern Ore Mountains and Dresden. I really liked the tour despite the high asphalt content.

The 7th foray leads mostly through beautiful settlements but also has beautiful paths along streams to offer. The flyer gives you a lot of interesting information

Today the way led me to Freital again, as there are still some ways to explore here. On the occasion of the day it became tour 9, which is accordingly also marked with a green 9 on a white background. Although the asphalt part predominates on this tour, I liked the tour. In places I felt like I was on a farm in the foothills of the Alps. From the Marktsteig began the great views of the Eastern Ore Mountains to Altenberg and Freital. A final highlight was the view from the Galgenberg.
