All-time high ... longest tour ever! After a hearty breakfast and good conversations (thanks, dear Georg), it started late. Through the Munster military training area with a Hindenburg memorial stone, which I think is questionable, in the direction of Bergen. I was able to wait for a rain shower in a "small shelter" 😉. Unfortunately, I could not realize the original plan to visit the concentration camp memorial in Bergen-Belsen due to the lack of registration, which is a shame. But I still have to make up for it. I would have liked to ask the perhaps simple-minded but simple question: How do you live in Belsen today? Personally, I find the story very depressing and stressful. What does a 20 year old from Belsen think about it? So, remember for next time.
If there is an ideal idea of a café, then it is realized in the Café Unterm Vogelbeerbaum in Hambühren. Lovingly, authentically and very nicely furnished down to the very last detail. Even if the very, very friendly owner family Lux had served rock-hard cakes, which was absolutely not (!) The case, it would have tasted excellent. 100% café enjoyment, absolute leader in my ranking. Dachshund Lady Sock made the idyll perfect.
I had already covered 55 kilometers here, but the decision was made to try it all the way home. The weather forecast promised a tailwind almost consistently with wind from the northwest. Incidentally, the battery beamed up from 78% to 100% and then home in Eco mode via Celle, Eicklingen, Watenbütel (latte to go), Braunschweig and Wolfenbüttel 🏡. Arrived there shortly before 8 p.m. with 31 percent. (Walter, Eco is more strenuous and slower than Tour, but once you get used to it, the battery level and the corresponding range give a good feeling).
Many thanks and greetings to the followers.

After a great dinner, a restful night and a good breakfast in the Allerparadies in Langlingen, we continued towards Munster in good weather. At some point the typical heathland began and the bike paths through pine forests away from the traffic were easy to ride. Then spent a wonderful evening at a friend's house in Munster.
The battery went to Eco and was absolutely sufficient.

A year ago today I arrived at Lake Constance after ten days - a good reason to start again. So, up and down in the heath to Munster - without ü😉. First on the well-known route to Braunschweig, from the center towards Ölper See and then on through the villages to Müden. This is where the Oker, which has been with me since shortly after the start, flows into the Aller. An imposing, 100-year-old barrage briefly stops its broad course and it is the next river. From Müden again, like last September, along the Aller downriver. So here is also familiar terrain.
Battery recharging wasn't necessary today because I followed the recommendation of my only friend Walters and rode on Eco. On arrival still 35%, but also lower hourly average. An option in the lowlands 😀

That was the 600th tour recorded and documented with komoot. I am still enthusiastic about the app, regardless of whether it is planning, up-to-date navigation or documentation.
However, the inaccuracy of the height information remains and I unfortunately find Premium too expensive. Once I had a year at the introductory price, it was good too. But I don't use many features in the winter months without cycling, so I don't have them anymore.
Basically, I will stay with komoot!

Moin, nice to see! It was way too long ago, about 20 years ago I had the pleasure to work on Heligoland. Unfortunately, the herb has long been in the cemetery. Stay awake!

Once again very relaxing and 'decelerating' on Heligoland, a long weekend is enough to 'come down'
+ Peace and quiet and clean air, at least when the day trippers are gone 😁.
As a cyclist, however, you have to do without your beloved means of transport, because according to the StVO cycling is prohibited on Heligoland.
