Our round tour leads from Telgte first to the Klatenberge nature reserve and to the juniper heather. The seating area on the top of the dune invites you to linger, have a picnic and enjoy a panoramic view of the beautiful heathland. We then reach the Emsaue and Beveraue via forest and field paths. Haus Langen, a former manor, is located on a weir in the Bever. The knight's castle was destroyed for a long time, the gabled house with the clearly visible coat of arms dates from the Renaissance period, the two current mills, which had several previous buildings, were built in the years 1813/1814.Our way back to Telgte follows the banks of the Ems to the provost church of St. Clemens and the pilgrimage chapel - Telgte has a pilgrimage history that goes back to the 17th century. Finally we stroll through the historic old town.

Veluwezoom National Park, a 5000 hectare nature reserve. The heather areas are huge! The landscape is actually much more beautiful than in the pictures. Unfortunately we weren't so lucky with the weather yesterday. It rained several times. One path went through tall, wet grass. The water ran from the pants directly into the shoes 🙈. My socks were completely wet. The pants anyway. The heather does not glow as beautifully in cloudy weather as it does in sunshine. I was already in this national park last year. It's always worth it 🤗.

The tour was something of a petting zoo 😄. On the way there, through the Bockholter Mountains, I didn't see a single animal. There were probably too many people around. On the way back I saw sheep and goats for the very first time. The sheep are very shy. But not the goats at all. If the goats had fleas, I could have photographed the hopping fleas 😂. I was only a few inches away from the animals. On the way I had to zigzag around the animals 😉. I took four pictures with my camera, the rest with my smartphone.

Evening mood really great! But the way was nothing. Overgrown in front of the wood. Under the A1 motorway, a little further along the renatured Ems, there is still a path. A little further, just before the sheep, you can't go any further. I think it's actually good, we don't have to go everywhere and can just let nature be nature. Komoot just stupidly shows ways that apparently haven't existed for a long time. So the tour went back over small streets. Incidentally, the sheep all suddenly ran away from me at full throttle. All you saw was a cloud of dust. And I said to my husband, who was already standing at the fence, be quiet, not that you scare away the sheep 🙈.

Actually, we wanted to see the Silberbachtal 3 months ago. A friend said the valley is a wonderful hiking area. Yesterday I didn't find any news about the valley. The actual path through the Silberbachtal was closed months ago due to forestry work. He still is! Just not from the side we started from. Honestly, I also imagined something else when it came to forest work. The wide strip on the Silberbach looks devastated. I think it must have looked really nice here. But it was all the more beautiful on the peaks of Velmerstot. The mountain has two peaks! Prussian Velmerstot (468 m) and the smaller neighboring summit Lippische Velmerstot (441 m). Unfortunately, I also have to say that I've never seen so many broken trees on one tour. Even outside of the Silberbachtal.

The landscape is actually a nice tour. We took the Nebelhornbahn to Höfatsblick and wanted to hike to three mountain lakes. We only saw two because we didn't make it to Engeratsgundsee in time 😢. I wouldn't ride the Nebelhornbahn again. Much too crowded! The first ascent is at 8:30 am and the last descent is at 4:50 pm. We were at the Nebelhornbahn at 9:15 a.m. and joined the long queue 😕. The same fun again on the descent. I'm not even sure if everyone really comes down from the mountain. An unbelievable number of people want to climb the foghorn. And some of them were on the hiking trail to the lakes. We also heard a lot of people about the Hindelang via ferrata. Don't want to know what's going on here at the weekend. Scenic TOP! But unfortunately not a single animal seen. The trails were very rocky.

Here comes another stragglers tour. Didn't manage to upload the tour in the week. The internet wasn't the fastest.🅿️ Parking spaces are in short supply in this area. When we stood in front of the parking ticket machine in Hinterstein, we were amazed. 10 euros, no matter what time you arrive here, in COINS! Who has 10 Euro hard money in their wallet 😖. No, the part did not accept Scheine. Alternatively, you can use an app. We were then overwhelmed when we stared motionless at the parking ticket machine 🤣. I pay almost everything with the card. That doesn't work everywhere here. The small towns are downright overwhelmed with the many cars. We parked our car on private property for 7 euros. The community doesn't like it at all. The talkative, nice, elderly couple in the parking area don't care at all. Coal has to come in. The two are not bothered by the fact that the community is putting up no parking signs. Is their property 😉. You can even spend the night there! But there are no sanitary facilities.

Today we went to the summit of the Riedbergerhorn (1792 m). Since I have a lot of sore muscles, I thought an easily walkable tour would fit. Most of the paths are really easy to walk. Only, the path I chose over the ridge is not quite so. At least not from one side. Two or three steep spots and a few easy climbing spots over rocks. And I've always checked Komoot's maps to see whether the paths are depicted with longer lines or with short ones or dots. The other ways to the Riedbergerhorn are really easy. A tour with beautiful views and lots of cows 😃.
