Información sobre Kornblixt
Discovered mountain biking while on vacation to Mallorca a few years back and has been hooked since. Lives in Västerås (100 km west of Stockholm) so most local cycling involves trail routes, little elevation but a lot of forest and roots. Summer season is optimal for MTB with cool and dry weather whereas October to March involves a lot of rain and shorter daylight hours (so a good headlamp is recommended). Anyone interested in joining an MTB group in Västerås should google either "Friluftsfrämjandet MTB Västerås" or "Västerås CK"

Challenging MTB trail at S3 difficulty level similar to Rocklunda in Västerås (in terms of elevation and overall difficulty) but nicer forest and not so worn track. Challenging sections with both roots and rocks in forest. Short climbs and drops occur also.
Knee and elbow protection recommended.

Good trail next to Fagersta (Västmanland), main track approx. 8 km long including a decent cycle park that has some cool turns and one or two jumps. Perfect for familes as well as more experienced mountain bikers. Maximum elevation difference just over 100 m which for this region is quite good…
