Oh, what was it again today in the Trifels- und Weinland!
It's great when there are both ... vineyards and forest!
Start at the hiking car park below the Kastanienbusch vineyard.
The ascent to Hohenberg initially runs through the Wingerte. Then it goes uphill on rooty, stony paths through the forest (a good thing, especially in summer). Once at the top, the summiteer can expect a great view from two vantage points, wonderful! 🤩
The descent is just as bumpy and steep. I found the paths great ... but my knees were less enthusiastic. 🤪Our route continued to the Zollstock crossroads and again through the Wingerte back to Birkweiler. On the way there are wonderful views of the 🍇Landscape and when looking back at Trifels Castle.
A few nice resting places can be found all over the vineyards.
Birkweiler itself is a worth seeing wine village with many beautiful corners. A stroll with a stop can be followed.
      Once again: Schää was

Nice tour with a sweaty ascent on a pretty path to the 513 m high Großer Eyberg (the tower, designed for short, slim people 😂, comes on top!). It goes down again steeply. Then follows a longer piece on the forest forest path to the Napoleon rock.A path continues on the path of the same name to the Reinigshof and the Reinigsquelle. From there one climbs up on a beaten path to the really imposing Dürrenstein. It's worth making this detour! 👍Through a wild and humid valley I then deviated from the familiar route on a forest path (marked with a yellow dot) in order to visit the thirsty rocks, which I had not seen again since they were cleared. This massif is also very impressive, especially when you step behind the rocks. The beauty really comes into its own there and you also have a view of the Lämmerfelsen opposite! Then we went back over a longer red-sand forest path with a valley view, which shows some forest work, but that didn't bother us.A beautiful sunset rounded the whole thing off! 🤗

      Nothing for cloudy cups! 🥳🥳😄
The uniform gray does not exactly lure you to excursions into the distance ...
I ‘thought about playing a little with color (or a little bit of horror?) 😉 ... but that didn't make our beautiful Dahn more beautiful either, just weird 🤣, so I left it as it is.
The alternative would be to post nothing more ... will probably come too. And as I write this ... ☀️☀️
The timing was probably wrong 😂

Very nice tour today in the weather, sun 14 degrees, well; I got warm anyway 😄.The rocks shone in the light, wow!
It was the purest migration of peoples that came to meet us from France.
After the rocks it got quieter and we climbed up along the border to the very beautiful folding rule hut, where there was a break.
Then it went past several woogens through the autumn-colored landscape back to the Spießweiher, our parking lot.Two words: Schää wars‼ ️👍

Even if the beginning of the tour looks a bit chaotic, there was a reason. I wanted to know if you can get to the White Madonna, but I'm not a climber, that's why it failed. But somehow she came up 😄.
You can walk on the ridge of the Großer Hinzenberg, but it wasn't our topic today.
The following about the Middle Hinzenfels:
IT IS LOCKED! From both sides ... because of thickening! You should respect that, even if highlight hunters propagate it here in Komoot! NO,
there are plenty of other rocks‼ ️
For example in this area the Kilpstein, great, a long time ago a lookout rock, still worth seeing today. Or the "Big Rock" with a beautiful view of Petersbächel, Gebüg, the Maimont!
From this it was a bit “confusing” with a natural block 🤪 down to Petersbächel.
A lap through the village, past Walthariklause, Bastian bakery and Würth woodworking studio (that's about it), we continued a little more adventurously on the teacher-Hunold path to Gebüg through meadows and over a forest path back to Fischbach.Rather little frequented paths / paths on our tinkered tour, apart from the round at Saarbach and Pfälzerwoog, which are part of the Wasgau lakes tour.

Hornbach lies between Zweibrücken and the French border. Hornbach Monastery is known in town and country; today a first class hotel.Simone had reminded me through her company outing that I wanted to walk the premium hiking trail there ...These paths have the advantage:
      1. Very well signposted
      2. Lots of benches and rest areas
      3. Different route profile
      4. Changing landscape
The symbol, red and white shining sun is appropriate; lots of space for 🌞, so I wouldn't walk the path at 30 degrees! The open landscape alternates with deciduous forest passages.
The paths are mixed, a bit of everything ... but not to be compared with the paths in the Palatinate Forest! The soil is completely different, heavy and loamy, therefore much more humid and sometimes slippery; things are going well in the meadows.
The rest can be told by the many photos ...
I started the tour with a stroll through the lovely town. You shouldn't miss that either. 🤗In today's weather ☀️🌤 a very nice tour without big differences in altitude and gentle on my injured knee 😊.

Anyone who knows the Wieslauter core zone knows how to appreciate the absolute peace ... and the silence. In addition, idyllic brook valleys with clear traces of game and gurgling cool water. There is a smell of damp forest floor everywhere, especially now in autumn.
You are completely alone with yourself and with nature. A wonderful retreat for humans and animals, so please keep your dogs on a leash!
We started and ended the tour on the newly built Skywalk, which is actually just a baby. Very short and the view was there before. Now 3-4 people can sit there and look at Breite Boll, Large Boll and Top Boll and, with luck, indulge in the sunset. The Boll Mountains were our hiking destination today, as viewed from above. It went over beautiful forest paths, partly green, moderately down into the beautiful Scheidbachtal. Continue through this to the source area (here you can get your feet wet) and finally over the hairpin and on an 800 m long stretch of the cow path back up and back to the parking lot.
The cow path (gravel) can be avoided by simply going further into the valley end and only then up. I briefly inspected the way from above, it works, even if it doesn't look like it at first.
A very calm and beautiful tour of nature without “speculoos” and good to hike, if you are not as stupid as me and fall over a stone right at the beginning, slap your length and hurt your knee, ouch!
The photos are not highlights today! 🤷🏻‍♀️

      Had no ☂️ / there 🤷🏻‍♀️.
The Eichelberg with its attractions fell into the water.
Four friendly, sitting 🙈 workers allowed me to visit the castle. The way they approach it, the termination should still take ... 😉 (joke)Short, but still beautiful!

… .But dispensable, at least on foot.
A white spot on the Komoot card 😄.
The first kilometer was steep uphill, hardly downhill again at the top, on the beautiful path of the Felsenland Sagenweg, but through broken forest!
In the valley then a wide path that became a bike route and leads through our destination, the Königsbruch. There you can cycle nicely in different directions, a bit tough on foot.
The Königsbruch is the largest NSG in the district of Südwestpfalz.
The area of the educational institution “Die Heilsbach” is located in the immediate vicinity, hidden in the forest. I've read on signs several times before (admittedly with skepticism) there too. I googled what it was about afterwards.
Due to a lack of time, we could no longer deepen the tour there and returned via the 400 m long wooden walkways.
Over meadows that were luckily mowed (Ronnie loves it) and on a forest path we ran our 🥚to the end and back to Rumbach.
I have to see if it can be optimized for hiking ...
