It was about the Ruppiner See. The first half was wonderful. Very nice hiking trails right on the water. The second half of the tour was very exhausting. No more beautiful hiking trails but an endless asphalt road, on which no cars were driving, but walking became very arduous.
Still, the tour was nice, especially the first half of the hike.
The paths were easy to walk on, but surefootedness is required. If you want to hike this hike at night, you should be in good physical condition.
I discovered the tour on komoot.

Susann invited me to this tour. It was a long time ago that we went hiking together. We wanted to hike the tour we found on komoot today. We started from Storkow train station (Markt). On our way we noticed a banner about collecting potatoes. On our way we noticed that there is a village festival here. So let's go. When we asked a security man, we found out that it was a potato festival. Here everyone could collect their own potatoes from the field. A lot of people noticed this. There was a lot of food and information about the potato. We didn't let it be taken either and had a snack. Well strengthened, we went on our tour.
It quickly became clear to us that this tour would not be the most attractive. Much of the way was on asphalt roads. These were more or less flanked by cars, which made walking dangerous and difficult. Every now and then we did find a way away from the street, which was rather a rarity. We saw very little of the Großer Schauener See. At the end of the tour we did another sprint to make our train, otherwise we would have had to wait an hour.
In Königs Wusterhausen we treated ourselves to a nice Dutch coffee. Which was a successful end to the very mixed tour.
Many thanks to Susann for the tour and the pleasant conversation.

      Always along the dike.
Wonderful landscapes and always along the water.
Started in Lübben - Bahnhof, it went straight through the forest.
Somehow I couldn't find the "entry point", so I crisscrossed the forest. But at some point I was on the Spree and now it was easier to progress. On beautiful hiking trails right along the Spree to the dike. Now it went on for km on the Deichweg, the Spree on the right and beautiful meadows and pastures on the left.
Despite the somewhat lengthy dike path, it was a wonderful tour, also very suitable for cyclists.
P.S. I found the tour at Komoot.

Turned around the Scharmützelsee in a very cloudy and cloudy sky. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet around the Scharmützelsee.

From Marquardt to BrieselangThe second tour on the 66 lakes hiking trail took me from Marquardt to Brieselang today. Most of the time you walk along the Havel Canal, but that doesn't have to be boring. The vastness of Brandenburg could also be enjoyed. I found the tour to be very nice, as there were few people on the way, which was probably due to the fact that today was a working day and many were busy doing their work.
Some of the paths are a bit more demanding, as there are paths with grass in places and these are not easy to walk.
I didn't discover any lakes today, but enough water flowed along the Havel Canal (a small compensation).
Despite the long route along the Havel Canal, a very nice tour.

From Potsdam to Marquardt. The first tour of my new project “The 66 Lakes Walk” took me to Potsdam. From the main train station we went through the city, where much is still being built, to the Sanssouci Palace and Park, and on through the Russian Colony to Cecilienhof Palace.
We continued over the Pfingsberg to the "Weißer See". The path led a short distance along the Sacrow-Paretzer Canal to Marquardt. Marquardt has a very, very beautiful park on the Schlänitzsee.
The paths were very different from asphalt to park paths to hiking trails - everything was there. A varied tour with a high cultural character.

Dear hiking friends,... unfortunately no specific invitation to the next group tour at the moment. This is expected to take place in October, more on this shortly. I'm just thinking about the mode and the route. My route selection for the hiking season 2022 at the Märkischer Wanderbund is pending, and I'm still undecided about the upcoming group tours, which I would like to offer monthly via komoot or via my hiking blog, in the best case scenario.Since I am always open to new concepts, 'acting at eye level' is important to me and I very much like to use technical aids in the hiking area, I would like to ask you for your opinion, your preferences and, if necessary, suggestions for optimization along the way.You will find a pre-selection of over 50 tours in the collection created for this purpose at: komoot.de/collection/1324721/-geplante-gruppenwanderungen, most of which I have already hiked in exactly the same way myself. For this purpose, I have checked hundreds of hikes over the past 6 years for their suitability as a group tour, in terms of attractiveness, accessibility, weather resistance and of course the length of the route. In the end I was amazed at how many tours I would hike alone again at any time, but not in a group, for a variety of reasons ...If you are interested, please vote anonymously which tours you would like to hike in the group with me at: wandern-berlin-brandenburg.de/abstimmung-geplante-gruppenwanderungen
Until 30.09. open, 5 selections are possible there.
Feel free to write your feedback, suggestions, your own ideas, etc. here or in the collection in the comment.
