The storks are back in Döllnitz. Thanks to hallunke for the hint. But they have just made their siesta.
But the Horst at the level of Lochau / Wesenitz was clearly visible. Lots of birds in general along the way. Green woodpecker, lots of buzzards, goldfinches, etc.
This is also the start of the season…

Shortened the lap a bit. Because of the weather. There are actually wild horses on the plateau. But they probably also hid when winter came.

A bit too windy and warm for my taste today. But that is now whining on a high level :)
Likes the round very much. The way back via Rothenburg on the Saale Cycle Path is really fun. And today all in all there is hardly any traffic (or amount).

In Dieskauer Park you can idle the time (if you have it), watch gray geese right now and hop from bank to bank.
In the south there is a pretty spooky garbage corner, however.

Armed with binoculars to the Salziger See nature reserve. Not so busy at the moment. A couple of gray geese and cormorants. You may see more closer to the water, but then you may also be annoying.
Beautiful forest that is largely left to its own devices.
Great for hiking, but certainly also good for engraving. You should avoid the paths that lead to the suspension rope bridge in the weather for excursions, if you want to avoid groups of people. But there are also enough smaller trails on which…
