Today we only drove a short lap, but it was tough because of the inclines. Start on the West Pomerania cycle path. It then went beautifully through the forest in the national park. The first lap of the tour was solid ground, then it got more and more sandy. We are then in Lubin to the lookout point
Grodzisko drove. A view like from an airplane. That is the absolute highlight of the region. Then we went to the turquoise lake. There we were really tricked by Komoot. The path to the left around the lake is impassable. The sandy slopes with a 30-40% gradient and a lot of thorns could not even be mastered with pushing. Otherwise a fantastic, car-free tour through beautiful nature. Almost 250 meters in altitude on 15 kilometers, that's something. In the evening, we went to the Baltic Sea to swim. High waves, 22 degrees, simply fantastic ...Best regards.

So now I'll bother you with a little Pole again. We only packed the bio bikes because we thought everything would be flat on the coast. Puff cake.It went through Miedzyzdroje, then to the Kaffee Berg, the Weißer Berg and back through the national park. You should definitely not use the route on the road, up the mountains, that we drove. There is a car-free route through the national park, but with a lot of sand. On the Kaffeeberg there is a gigantic vantage point on the wooden stairs. The stairs over the cliffs to the beach are currently closed. It is worthwhile to drive up to the White Mountain from there and visit the old bunker systems. Some bunkers are even open. From below, the White Mountain looks like the chalk cliffs in Rügen. Some passages in the forest are so steep that we wouldn't even have made it up with the ebike. Every now and then you have to carry the bike up the stairs. The smell of the sea with the deciduous forest is just fantastic. Not writable. It went back to the city, a touch of mass tourism but very relaxed. Towards the evening, a fantastic atmosphere with the warm sea breeze and the magical sounds of the musicians along the pedestrian zone. There is a wonderful beach bar where you can end the evening with the sunset. The choice of food is gigantic and the prices great. The people are very friendly and good hosts. Poland is always worth a trip. I can only recommend everyone to switch to the other side instead of Usedom. Another world just a few kilometers away. Money should be exchanged and always confirm with Slotty when paying by card.best regards

Today we had another great lap, a little further north. The hilly landscape in the Uckermark and Barnimer Land is always fun in this region. There are fantastic bike paths but also small sandy slopes and cobblestones in the forest. No problem with ebike and pure fun factor. We started in Angermünde, right out of town and over the hills on an excellent bike path along the Ice Age Road to the Geopark. The park is small but very informative. There are lovingly designed figures that also stimulate the children's imagination. And then up, through the gate. On the right side the UNESCO beech forest was already visible on the hill / mountain. You should first visit the viewing platform before going into the dark forest. The gigantic view and the information about the rocks in the Ice Age are very interesting. Then it went into the forest. Some slopes and endless cobblestones adorn the forest.

36 degrees and it gets even hotter ... 🥴Unfortunately there are now a lot of pictures😋The Polish mountains along the Oder have always interested me. They are simply higher and longer than on the German side. So today we went on a test lap. The start was on the Polish market in Hohenwutzen. The first section of the route was a little boring and flat. Then a fantastic MTB area in the Bielinek reserve. Steep climbs in the forest, fallen trees everywhere and pure solitude. There is not only the great serpentine path, but a lot of stretches left and right. Nothing is shown on Komoot, I've never seen anything like it. Then I continued on the road through the national parks. It was all empty, no cars, otherwise I would never have driven there long. Poles like to drive through the forest at 130. Somehow I felt like I was in Siberia from loneliness. I saw the first person after 3 hours. There is still life in Poland.

It started in a big group with many Haibikes. As an exception, a Levo was allowed to join the sharks. 🙈 A wonderful trail off the road. Not entirely harmless, but great fun for experienced eMTB riders. It's nice that you can meet such nice people through Koomot. Many thanks to all of you for the excellent guidance. Until next time.

With the underground it went to the station Semperopel in the Vorharz (see picture) 🤣Then I went from Diekholzen to Hildesheim, the city with most of the churches in Germany. It's been a long time since I rode my bike to school ...
Back then there were no bike paths and only a two-speed gearshift to manage the many mountains. Now there is a great bike path and a built-over railway embankment that I ran over with the steam locomotive as a child.
Hildesheim is a great city with many old beautiful half-timbered houses but also extremely many ugly 60s buildings. If you know the right corners, you can get your money's worth not only historically but also naturally and culturally. The buildings on the market square have been lovingly restored and become a highlight with the reconstruction of the bone hewn office building. Of course, you should also visit the cathedral, the Michaelis Church, which is now a UNESCO cultural heritage site, and the crooked houses in the old town.

Just go for it today, without any planning. It is not that easy to find the right bridges and crossings. But everything went well. The piece of federal road can be bypassed even better through the forest. The waterways are just gorgeous. The well-developed bike path is also recommended. At some point we will take a look at the brickworks park. There is a lot of tourism there, but the waterways were very lonely. There are even a few hidden lost places.

A single summer day like in the South Seas ...The height profile is wrong again!Always nice to jet through the many forest areas on the outskirts. Nobody was in the water yet, but many were already half-naked. Only bottled beer was allowed to be sold in the lido. Draft beer is prohibited. How sick is that. The new cycle path between Hönow and Neuenhagen will be ready soon. The bridge over the Zoche is currently being built.I'm sorry about the barrier, unfortunately it is now broken. But for that you all better come over there nowAnd here's a little film made by me: At the Bernsteinsee. My morning round of the house.
Greetings from the beautiful Barnimer Land
