Información sobre Manons Wanderwelt

Hallo!

Usually the Traumschleife tour is 8 km long. I shortened it this time. The tour was voted the second most beautiful circular hiking trail in Germany in 2017 by the readers of the hiking magazine.A beautiful and varied Hunsrück landscape with numerous historical features awaits you. Idyllic islands of calm with streams and pristine nature are characteristic of this tour. The combination of nature experience, sculptures and a variety of information that is “unique” in a certain way make this dream loop a special experience.Eat & relax:

The Goldbachtal-Höhenweg leads mainly through forest, along the Goldbach steeply up the mountain. At a resting place at a creek basin and a former prospect there is usually a pan that is deposited for panning for gold. Everyone can try their luck here! Around a third of the way is done near the source. You leave the Bachtal and hike leisurely downhill on forest paths. Every now and then, viewpoints invite you to take a break, especially the view of the Moselle from the "Wilhelmshöhe" and the Andeler refuge.Very nice hike - no rest stops.
Take enough food and drinks with you.

The forest adventure trail is located above the vineyards in the forest. It is about 2 km from the town center. An experience for young and old!You can understand the forest with all your senses on this educational forest trail. Scented garden, barefoot path, twisted throwing game, listening corner, tree touching games and many adventure games for adults and children make it possible to get to know the forest in a different way. On 28 display boards you can also find out something about the ecology of the forest and its importance for humans and animals.Highlights:
Wooden sculptures, biotopes, suitable for families and children, suitable for beginners

The namesake of this Moselsteig affair - Count Georg Johannes - is the most famous offspring of the Veldenz Counts, also because he married a daughter of King Gustav I of Sweden in 1563. The tribal history of the Veldenz Counts is therefore discussed again and again on this approximately 14 km long affair. The seat of the former count, Veldenz Castle with its ruins, can also be admired from many vantage points along the way. A 90-meter-long stone wall, which is also impressive along the way, is evidence of a former Celtic refuge. The tour starts and ends in the romantic town of Veldenz. The hiking trail meanders along the mountain flanks of the Veldenzer Bach and Hinterbach. The stream is crossed twice. Then you have to prepare yourself for the ascent again!

What is today for a weather - awesome! Absolute horror for running ... ☀️😤☀️😎Now you could ask me, Manon, why do you go running in this weather too. 😕
Answer from me: I've been in the office all day and have an absolute need to move. 👩‍💻🏃‍♀️
And to be honest, a couple of cyclists came towards me and I seriously asked myself, why don't I have a bike? 🚲🤔
That's it now, a leisurely ride on the bike - great. No, Madam prefers to run ...... 🙈🤣

An extensive nature reserve, the Sprockhöveler Bachtal, extends below Hattingen. Today's hike ran in places on the Neanderland Steig.Wonderful narrow paths, some steep climbs and a bit of road in between. But that was okay, because a short time later I was back in the forest or on the hiking trail. At a humid 27 degrees it was 22.6 kilometers in the end and easily 2 liters of water in and out again. 🤣 But overall an enjoyable and wonderful hike. ☀️💚😊Highlight: The Isenburg castle ruins, it lies above the Ruhr and impresses above all with its size. Unfortunately, only parts of the foundation walls and a few cellars are visible today. The defense system was built by Count Adolf von Altena in 1200. Only 25 years later, the Isenburg was destroyed again. The house in the middle of the castle complex was only built in the middle of the 19th century and now houses a small museum and a cafeteria. The castle ruins, on the other hand, are always accessible.Discover & relax: 🥗📸😊Isenberg Castle Museum and Cafeteria opening times:

In the heather at the gates of the city of Dorsten in the northern Ruhr area, a low-lying wetland area with streams, ditches and ponds invites you to observe a species-rich fauna. Several observation platforms and a small observation tower offer good views of white stork, tail cattle and many special and rare birds. The area known as Hervester Bruch is part of the large nature reserve around the Wienbach, which flows from Wulfen near Dorsten into the Hammbach, only to flow into the Lippe shortly afterwards.Special animals have appeared and during the breeding season you can observe stork nests with storks and their offspring at several locations from a distance. The water buffalo and Heck cattle have also been an attraction for a number of years, who here with unshakable calm ensure that the plants are kept low and prevent the area from being covered with thick bushes. Several observation points allow a good view of the animals with a little patience.Another lookout tower and a second stork's nest come after about 8 kilometers. Right next to it, a cozy rest area invites you to take a break. There are information boards on site and at the other stations that deal with topics related to the landscape. There is an observation spot just a few meters from the observation tower. The path runs over a footbridge, this is zigzag, leads you through the damp lowlands and soon ends at another vantage point. This has a board wall that you can look through. So you can watch the animals in peace without frightening them. If you keep quiet.IMPORTANT: Take the binoculars with you and the amateur photographers should take the reflex camera with them 📸Eating & relaxing: 🥗🍽🍷🍺Einhaus Jägerhof
