Or ... 12 km in 7 hours. 😉Next stage of our Ur Ilm hike. The first and last signs for the path were in tear down. And they are so strange that we went wrong right away. Or maybe not - we don't know. 🤷♂️ Paths that end in the forest, tall grass through which one has to go, creeks to be overcome that have to be crossed, fields that we unfortunately had to cross ... The chaos only ended shortly before Buttstädt. Then we finally came to a good hiking trail. Our break on the Camposantos was relatively long according to our condition. But it was good to recharge your batteries in the shade. The church was also open for the time of the Buga and can be visited.
The rest of the way we continued on existing hiking trails. We chose that because there were still no signs to the way, from Buttstädt we went on the bike path until shortly before Hardisleben. It was getting very elongated, especially with this sun today. But after Hardisleben it got much better. Above all, the beautiful views and foresight were great again. And last but not least, thanks to a nice hiking friend, we were able to marvel at evidence of the course of the Ur-Ilm. Many thanks to Ritter Raspe.

Now it goes on ...Niederreissen-Buttstädt-Campo Santo BUGA external location- Hardisleben-Rastenberg Kapellenberg with visible traces of the Ur-Ilm!Finally, AnDo and I have found another date together to continue our adventure ...
Start in Niederreissen at our hiking trail signs, which first sent us into the woods after a bit of pondering. Unfortunately this path ended here. Across meter-high meadows we went to the path along the Reissbach, which led us in Buttstädt to the Buga external location Campo Santo, which we were allowed to break down by hand with the original key (?). We deserved a long break in this quiet place, right next to the "Jungspechtseiche". Afterwards, the visit to St. Michaelis, which, according to the tour, has the largest altar in the Protestant Church in Thuringia, was a great fit. Also a very beautiful organ that is still in the process of being revitalized. After a detour through the market - to the ice cream bakery Höhne 😆 another handmade treat. There are alternating very promising varieties: nougat brittle, peppermint, sour cream, wild berries, ...
And continue at the northeast exit of the village in the direction of Hardisleben via the ICE route, the construction of which is at least thanks to pleasant cycle paths
Much of the route leads across open fields. Only near Hardisleben does it get more comfortable and slightly uphill. The highlight here for us is the view from the Auberg and the rest with the last refreshing provisions strawberries, before we walk a little through the village on the Stangelweg to Rastenberg.
Here we had an appointment with Ritter Raspe, who unfortunately could not find that much time for the entire hike this time, but gave us the right flavor for the Rastenberg part with his local insider knowledge. Many thanks to Ritter Raspe!

Today I had "contracted" the connection to the hiking group and made a virtue out of necessity (according to their photos I certainly missed a nice hike, but ... in short ... there are no coincidences!).I have been reluctant to publish tracks a few times. This time I actually switched part of it invisible in the interests of nature. The round of approx. 13km started and ended from / in Garnbach.The rustic landlord of the "Zum Fröhlichen Wanderer" inn said that I would be pretty much alone on my chosen route, today is just right for me. As for humanity, he was right too. However, there were many, many natural beings that hummed and trilled. And not a few truffle noses must have been hidden in the bushes, as the churned-up ground revealed. Long story short!
It was a wonderful immersion in rustic nature!The Rabenswald family circular route is recommended from here. By the way: the inn "Zum Fröhlichen Wanderer" will open again as usual next Friday and serve home-made Thuringian cuisine!

With summery temperatures we went today with Intension GeoPfad and landscape to the round from Rehagen via Klausdorf to Sperenberg with tanging different paths: Boden-Geo-Path, Klausdorfer Rundweg, Gr. Gypsum hiking trail, 66 lakes hiking trail ... the suggestion is based on an invitation from Manfred Reschke + Frank Meyer ... which I was unable to take advantage of at the time. THANK YOU very much for the idea, it is a very interesting area with a varied landscape.

During one of the last stays we discovered the Bernhardspfad by chance. This time it was explored more closely.
In addition to the many little stories of regional development (origins of the Lehnin monastery, churches, brickworks, carpentry yards, agriculture / forestry, fire brigade ...), the part at the NSG / VSG Rietzer See is very interesting and formative. Various observation stations allow relaxed observation and NABU takes care of ...
During the last stay there were fountains + summer music as part of the European. a wonderful concert.
This time you could only listen to the organ playing (training) in the monastery church through the locked door.
However, concerts of the monastery church can be streamed ...klosterkirche-lehnin.de/sommermusiken/konzerttermine-online-videos.htmlSince we're at the moment with culture, I'll give you a little spring font, even if it's past March:spring
Now he's finally coming after all
In green bud shoe;
"He came, he still came"
The trees nod to each other.They could hardly wait for him
Now they shoot shot after shot;
In the garden the old apple tree
He is reluctant, but he has to.The old heart probably hesitates too
And don't breathe freely yet
It worries and worries; "It's only March
And March is not yet May. "O shake off the heavy dream
And the long winter rest:
The old apple tree dares
Heart, dare you too.🌷 🌷 🌷 🌷 🌷
(short texts due to time, impressions cannot be represented, would go beyond the scope)
All in all it is always a pleasure to enjoy the views and observations over the vast country !!!
