Juli 2021 abgeschaltet.Wer mal mit“laundern“ möchte: sonunaberlos@gmail.com

I am in Munich every now and then, but somehow I have neglected to visit the Hirschgarten as well as the Nymphenburg Palace. This had to be made up for.We can read about the deer garden that it goes back to a pheasantry, which after an interim use as a silkworm breeding functioned as a hunting ground for the aristocracy close to the city, in which fallow deer and deer were settled. Today a popular park, in which instead of game (even if there is still a small enclosure), beer is hunted in the large beer garden, which inexplicably was not open this morning.Afterwards to the Nymphenburg, which is actually a baroque palace, which impresses with its spacious, symmetrical facilities and the associated park. This does not open its doors until 6:00 a.m. Fortunately, I had researched this late riser opening time in advance and waited accordingly before starting my run, which was also worthwhile in that the park is completely unlit and it was initially very dark to run even with a flashlight. That made the moment all the more beautiful when I greeted the park and palace with the first dawn.A wonderful route: 9 out of 10Consecrated chapel:

Well, actually my job even takes me to Paris for two nights, but I just couldn't help but win the tour title 😇And I didn't produce a hydraulic vest either, just a barrel. From the hotel I wanted to go over to Emmanuel's small box for a macaroons - but he still seemed to be doing Bubu and I didn't want to disturb, especially since the guards with their machine guns looked quite grim and barked at me that I didn't take any photos (have but still steals one) or shouldn't walk on the street ...Instead, I walked an arc across the Champs Elysées to see Christo's posthumous triumph in all its glory - unfortunately I was a week late 😔Then we went to the Trocadéro and lo and behold: the view from the plateau to the little tower of the Eiffel was hidden behind a site fence. But further down in the park he was eagerly admired. On the Marsfeld I ran then with a couple of happily squeaking rats to the bet. And even if my legs were slowly getting tired after a long break from running due to a large number of professional and private obligations, I was subsequently able to avoid being admitted to the Invalides Cathedral and trudged back to the hotel.Nonetheless, it was fun: 8 out of 10Waltz:

On the Day of German Unity, a tour of the memory of why Germany was divided in the first place: A walk with my parents around a big blob of the "bird shit of history" (as a new right wing wrote a few years ago), the submarine Bunker Valentin.Thousands of forced laborers had to build a monstrous bunker here under the Nazis, in which submarines were to be built and then released into the Weser for military operations. Many of the forced laborers left their lives there. At all only bearable in view of the fact that the bunker could never start its work, as the brown spook had ended shortly before. And how important remembrance continues to be, is made clear by the picture that evoked the tour title: How can one consider a place of suffering and death for thousands as a suitable place to hang a love lock?Chapel:

My first international conference since the outbreak of Big C, which is not just online, gives me the opportunity to take a look around The Hague. The place is known, among other things, for the international law agreements named after it, which not least led to the establishment of the International Criminal Court there in order to make the world a better and fairer place. Of course, I didn’t miss the opportunity to visit it and then take a look at the very picturesque inner city. And while I've already been there, a final dangling to the sea near Schevendingen was a must to greet the morning. A great start to a day full of lectures and networking discussions (not necessarily my strength, since small talk is not really my thing; but I have to go through it every time). 8 of 10.And since I was sitting on the stage yesterday where a Grand Prix d'Eurivision was won by lifting tears in 1976, there is music today that normally doesn't necessarily rotate in my playlist:

After the beautiful late summer weather took a break over the weekend, the sunrise tour, which was actually planned for today, fell flat. So an alternative had to be found that is exciting even in cloudy weather: Its centerpiece is the former munitions plant (Muna) Dünsen, which today has an impressive Lost Place charm. Entering the facility is completely legal, by the way, and a few years ago the private buyer of the site was required to maintain or even expand the public accessibility of the facility. At the moment, however, the area is being used again for quasi-military purposes, namely "homeland security" exercises. Which also led to the fact that in the spring there was once "cleaned up" and some entrances closed, so that I had to walk a little detour.I also consider the free accessibility of such places to be important, as they are an impressive reminder of what madness war and armament actually are - even if yesterday's anniversary and the developments since then remind us that unfortunately there is probably war and violence on earth becomes like there are people.I have linked the tour with a few glimpses of the nearby sculpture park. Its opening times of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, however, are completely unusable for me, so I left the driveway with a few steps. In total 7 out of 10.Chapel:

Back home. Finally running again (there was no viable opportunity to do so on vacation). Above all, however, it became really clear to me during our time in southern France: What I like so much about my home in northern Germany is the vastness of the landscape and the light. As much as elsewhere the climate may be more pleasant, the landscape more spectacular or the cities more vibrant, there you usually don't get such wonderful sunrises and a clear, dramatic and at the same time "filigree" (I can't think of a better word for it) Light commanded. To experience all of this in full glory, I set off early in the morning for one of my favorite rounds. From Bremen-Burg (well, the first few meters are still not so pretty) we went to Ritterhude to round the three-rivers corner, where Hamme and Wümme unite to form the Lesum (although this river does not have a large flow path and it does flows into the Weser a few kilometers after its formation). Returning to the more rural Bremen district of Wasserhorst including the ruins of the former pumping station. The anticipation was huge.Well, and then there was fog ...Still a nice running experience (9 out of 10). Back home:

One last excursion on this vacation. We were drawn to the sea, especially for a walk on the peninsula of St. Tropez (we wisely left the place aside). On the way there we drove through areas where the forest fire raged last week. Oppressive views were presented. When we arrived at our destination, we walked from Plage de Gigaro on a narrow path through the coastal rocks along the water to a small bay, where we took a break and I treated my feet to some Mediterranean water.Tackled to the round are a few more pictures from yesterday's excursion to the fantastic Le Thoronet Abbey.A few last moments of summer before we head into the Bremen autumn tomorrow evening and the vacation ends.We are now very happy to have started this. The south of France had been declared a high-risk area shortly before our departure. We then thought about it for a long time and ultimately decided on the trip, as we are all fully vaccinated (except for the Bellwurst), traveled in our own car, stayed in a remote holiday home - and the C requirements here are even stricter than in Germany and also to be lived; and finally because we must learn to live with C.In this sense, today it can be a school choir that provides the background music for the happy ending - with melancholy about the end of the holiday but also looking forward to returning home:

In principle, we do not go on vacation to the same place twice. But we are happy to return to some "crime scenes". Today to Aix-en-Provence, which at the time acted as the initial spark for this year's vacation.Today we wanted to explore the city without a guided tour, so at our own pace. And so we quickly immersed ourselves in the wonderful flair of this extremely beautiful and well-kept university town. And while the ladies thoroughly inspected one or the other shop, I had time in between - the dog is not allowed in anyway ... - time to hunt for motifs. So a feel-good day for everyone involved. The route didn't follow a special plan, we just let ourselves drift.Just a nice day.

Today should be my highlight of the vacation. A hike from Quinson was planned to the west through the local section of the Verdon Gorge along paths partly carved into the rock. In such a way that the ladies could have turned around to have a coffee in the village, while one of us planned a circuit of almost 10 km, which would also have offered over the hills south of the gorge with a good view from above .But how did the great philosopher Lothar M .: Would be, would be, bicycle chain. Because after a few meters the entry to the hiking trails was blocked and signs explained that since August 17th there has been a ban on entering the forest / nature in the entire region due to the danger of forest fires. Apparently, after the forest fire near St. Tropez last week, the authorities felt called upon to act particularly symbolically.Well, and so we designed the day with a bit of driving around to different places on the gorge or the associated reservoir, always looking in the crowd for the next café, restaurant, souvenir shop, etc.But since the whining is at a very high level, I can now laugh again. Especially since getting angry with things that cannot be changed is useless. And since I came across a couple of very nice motifs in between (well, some of them already on an excursion yesterday), I finally decided to publish it.In this sense, the summer can be enjoyed even without the hoped-for hike through Europe's "Grand Canyon":

Day trip to Nice. After the not entirely inconvenient search for a parking space, we went along the promenade to the flower market and then via the old town up to the Schlossberg with panoramic views over the city, harbor and coast. After we got fed up with it, we rolled back down the hill into the old town. Finally we strolled past a few shops where people who don't know what to do with their money will find something.Speaking of which: a nice excursion for a few hours, but it puzzles me why not a few people spend a fortune to spend several days there - but I don't have to understand everything and everyone.Chapel:
